Congrats on the Evo and welcome! It helps to preheat the unit for 5-15 mins before using to "heatsoak" the internal glass "bamboo" tube for best results.

Me too! I use a 18mm Hydrafoot with the Eq bowl on there with the rubber side facing down towards the foot, and then I use the Elev8 "sick clip" to secure the bowl to the Hydrafoot. It works nicely and is very secure.
