I have read that Ironwood can be toxic so I really havent tried it. I have seen some really nice pieces in that species though, would make some sweet pieces just afraid they might cause harm.
I will give it a few more rounds today and you are right, I need to run the Nano at the highest temp to see if this may cause separation. I have some admin stuff to do this morning and will be getting in the shop later today for work and testing!
Thats a damn good idea Snappo, I had thought about it last night just forgot all about this morning. A small silicone band could be wrapped around the bushing to avoid being burned by the metal. Good thinking bro!
