Just got today a second splinter for my birthday, is one of the last units from Vapefiend. Only reason I'm selling it is because I already have one: Asking for £100, happy to send anywhere but shiping is on buyer.

Has anyone been able to set it up so the coil doesn't glow and still vapes nicely? I can make it vape amazingly well, but coil gets red on high temps

Ryan told me it is the mica and that it's fine so I'm not worried, just curious about how often happens.

Straight from Ryan himself. One question guys, I just found out that my splinter has something lose inside and if I turn it around between my fingers I can hear it rattling inside. Does this happen to any of you? I´m a bit worried about that and what can it be, maybe the mica broke? something else?

I know they have mine because of the tracking so should be in the way back soon!! Guess they waiting to know what the issue was before confirming with me they got it.

I just got a Think Vape Finder 250c that I plan to use for my Splinter and StemPod. Testing the Splinter atm:

I just got one of those mouthpieces with my new Splinter and they really improve the experience. This is my setup with a ThinkVape Finder 250c : As long as I turn the mouthpiece a couple of times the last few finishing hits at high temps, I get totally even ABV without need to stir. Really...

I have to say that when they send me my second unit, they sent as well new o-rings. I told them I had some issues with the old ones and they took care of me.

Stempod landed!! Shame that my DNA mod is gonna arrive on monday but at least I can try it with AF. Love the design of the case/box, amazing work on that. Since yesterday I've been testing my Splinter mainly, its gonna be cool to test this 2 guys against each other!!

So after my first night with my gorgeous splinter, I settled on 155 tcr for TC and seems to be working really well and close to Temps. What options are you using for TC guys? My DNA mod didn't arrive today so Monday I will have it for sure and will start the proper testing :)

I still have hopes that the cleaning issue has been fixed. A vape this size with easy to find batteries is like a dream come true...

Right now I have an Evic mini but I'm gonna buy a Think Vape Finder 250C, found a shop selling them for £99.99 and seems like DNA is the way to go for TC! EDIT: In fact I just order it now, may have it by Saturday if I'm lucky :)
