dont need, but makes it great. not that it cantg choke out fat loads, but what you can get out of so little is really astounding
and ddave is super affordable
That’s the Mi2 stem. It’s the jam. Fits across everything, there is def variation on everything US. I have certainly posted about it before, my Mi1 like sit most of all, it’s green fem and won’t even play with the green shorty it came with, even w out a screen (or rimless). But this one seems...
God I need a meet up. My Mi1 bless, its heart, is opposite of everything here:
Glass is finicky: not sure how exactly. Too shallow? Too wide an ID? Something. Stem choice is limited as most all of mine bottom out.
Temp seems on the low side. Feel I’d have to try and combust and still may not...
thats why I asked:
careful(?) with the rx300, is indeed a beast, and I got over the insanely giantness of it all and fell in love with the endless battery, HOWEVER, it consistently reads one battery as lower than the other three (or more accurately, drains 1 of 4 at a faster rate) even on stock...
Pretty sure the "made for" is the 19/19 part, most are 19/22 (joint too long) so wont fit. youre mostly trying to avoid the stem joint hitting and damaging the heater screen... the trick is finding 19/19 at all!
btw what 4 batt mod?
Haha, i feel you, I only call mine a 1.anything because of trying to keep versions straight through these incremental revisions: My Mi1 came 2nd hand, and was described as "the turbulator" version and someone else coined that to be a "1.5" Who knows. I DO know that I like my Mi2 better.
opposite here, my 1.5 is slow and cool. reeeeaaallly need a patient draw. my II wrecks shit and fast!
ooo ooo oo ! me too, both my 1.5 and II are begging for SOMETHING
it takes whatever you give it, but I've found less is more across ALL rbt I use (Mi, Splinter, Z) the less packed the better: fat (visible) hits quicker, more even extraction, better taste. Certainly if you have the luxury of repacking if you need more... I only grind in a basic-ass Medtainer...
Like I said, Ryan talks about using it exactly as I am; mind you, I think he may be more cavalier with how he uses his RBT as he has a deeper stock to pull from if it goes sideways, however here, unless you are plugging the whole time you draw, I can't see it much different than a slow draw...
I dunno, mine seems pretty damn airtight, i certainly know immediately (ALMOST immediately, always a "what the..." moment!) what's going on with the no airflow...
I DO know that Ryan has discussed the intake's use as a carb before (i know, carb is really the wrong term, but no more incorrect...
i have to say, politics/scenarios aside, the LB, and now i see the LB elite as well, sure look like home made knockoffs (har)... that's not even a comment on performance, I've heard good things; but its like when you read an article in Nat Geo and you see the crazy purpose built alternatives...
