Finally a chance to snap a few photos of the Colie recycler!!
Interesting color blend.. kind of a turquoise and burnt sienna on the accents, really earthy, I dig it :)
Just clean enough to get those, and it's in use again...
I saw some daytime pictures of downtown St. Louis (grew up in the area) as recently as the early 1930's (quick Google hit) and gotta wonder how much of that has been involved rather than the usual suspects of better food preparation, refrigeration, inspection and the medical industry helping...
Not wanting to pick on you, but I do find this mindset a bit troubling.
For patients with diminished immune capacities (and people generally concerned with living healthy), it is all about risk mitigation. While, in your example, I may find that I personally do not need to wear a mask (the...
Hey Gang, we need to solve the Mystery of the Curse of the Double Top that's come back to haunt G. Seems the Double Top thinks it has already left this realm of usefulness, when in fact, it still works just as well as it ever did! I think it's something the Old Miner 501T-niner blogged on the...
Just got my new recycler, with some experimental coloring that's interesting.. but a bit medicated now to clean it all up and take pics and figure out what to do to make pics work :freak:
But otherwise want to say that Andrew stepped up after a minor misunderstanding and tossed in some extras...
Since that's ceramic, does it vape the whole load or do you have to scrape the remaining slightly burnt goo out from around and back on the coil like you have to with the globe?
Imbibers of the plant can be passionate.. We get it ;)
The tops are not defective at all - they just doesn't have a protection system designed for direct shorts - which is something very unlikely to happen with the original attachments available.
The tops have been redesigned to handle a short...
Straight BHO works, the consistency (when warmed, not room temp) will determine how well it feeds into the wick. Some of the thicker BHO's (shatters, typically, but not always - i've had very good waxes feed slow as well) will "vape" off the coil quicker than it feeds. You have only one...
It's all about getting the wick saturated for the NEXT pull in those carts... Something I'm still trying to master (though this Lavender CO2 oil is pulling through like a champ!)
I can see why! :)
2.4 ohm @ 3.6v = 5.4 watts
5 ohm @ 7.2v = 10.4 watts!
5 ohm @ 6v = 7.2 watts.. I'm in the passing lane without mashing the pedal all the way down! :)
OMG, I finally tried a CO2 oil (kinda jelly texture) inside a 5ohm cart... we're dialing this puppy back to 6v, stat! Why didn't Ataxian tell me to try CO2s earlier? Oh yeah.. he did..
A blue flame contains a hell of a lot more than h2o and co2...
Most heat elements are specifically designed to not degrade from heat (not offgassing, no gas, no propellant, no seal oils, no polymer off-gassing from the plastic press cap).
Those globes can give a nasty burnt taste as well and seems I gotta dig out the goo around and put it back on the coil more than actually loading fresh stuff into them (yes, you can hold the button, but if that coil is glowing bright red, you're not doing it efficiently and will wind up with the...
Red key? I hear some red stickers will add yet another 50HP!
Run what ya brung, and make sure you drove it like you stole it! :2c:
(OK, I'm officially jealous of the SR71 crew and will be stepping up my game shortly...)
