I'm sorry for you to drop that kind of money and feel so frustrated. I've pretty much got the entire kit myself, but assembled over time.
You left some pretty constructive feedback, imo, and I hope D9V takes the time to read and respond. I understand that many things are limited by having a...
I'd say yes - I've had ISO resurrect a couple of carts, but I'm sure it's not really the recommended thing to do (as it cannot repair the actual wick - only if there was a bad gunk/stuck clog that heat alone can't get). And, of course, you reclaim the wax from the ISO whether or not the cart...
I'm going on a BENDER today as well, LOL!
Going to experiment with slower draw, a second screen, and whatever else comes to mind. :mmmm:
On a further note, I am extremely pleased with the recent amount of information, the good posts and the great people in this thread! I think the past 10+...
Excellent post, sir! I'm so glad you're willing to take the time to get to know this device, as I can imagine it's hard work and requires strenuous spans of constant focus! :D
I'll say that the bottom of my Nibbler X is much much more loose than the bottom of the Bender... it slides right on...
I'm still not getting how to use the Bender correcly methinks. I've tried placing a bit of cotton under the mouthpiece, which keeps all crap out of it nicely, but it makes it hard to stir without making a mess...
I've tried placing a bit of cotton in the mouthpiece, but crumbs seem to clog up...
Silicone tubing!
Mine was starting to get pretty stinky and affecting the taste negatively, so just boiled a kettle of water, found a funnel the tubing just fit through, then rolled one end up a bit so it caught on the inside of the bottom of the funnel. A kettle of boiling water...
Nibbler X should be a requirement in that list IMO. I feel other than the novel (and inexpensive!) "noob toob" idea, this is the next best thing to get a real feel for how your carts work.
I also just got the SS kit on the 420 deal and really wished I did it sooner. Soo much more versatility...
I usually just heat up a paper clip (bent at the right length to fall just shy of the heater) - sends some juice back to the coil and thins the rest out along the wall of the tube - first hit is nice! And just reheat the paper clip a bit to drop any excess down the side back where it belongs...
I see where you're coming from and understand the message, but I do have an Omicron V2 and the full Persei line of toys and was planning on using this as a stealth travel alternative. I've been using the poofy caps D9V sells online (much better than the tiny white caps IMO) while storing, but...
I find the diffusion excellent, actually - watching the way the very thin sheets of vapor and water mix pressed between the tubes - it's really a well-designed perc and I believe G designed it himself. Turning it around in my hands slowly while tilted and hitting it, the "active" hole changes to...
Ahh, I get ya. I'm in the camp that it's not temperature cooler, but it's cooler when someone sees you hitting it ;) Also keep in mind that unless the bottom seal is perfect, some air will be running alongside the cartridge instead of through it, so there will be a slight temp reduction, but...
WTF you folks smoking? LOL
If you pull the Nibbler X off with the metal piece in the bottom, you're definitely creating a vacuum inside as you displace the volume of the cartridge with air at least partially drawn through the mouthpiece cause water to backflow into the inner chamber. Pretty...
I believe the mystery vape is no longer a mystery.

There are four O-rings on the metal base -- two on the outside that the glass slides over and two inside the hole of the metal base which the cart slides through. The two inside ones could potentially have some heat applied to them, but fairly minor, and nowhere near the inside o-rings of the...
