Just for some more info... LOL! It's a nickel chrome heating element and is powered up to 12V DC. It never glows red or even slightly changes color at max temp. It appears to be a heavy gauge wire as opposed to the VapBongs very thin wire heater that does glow.

It's a very neat design and the glass is very well blown. Very science lab type of vaporizer though but very effective. I have often wondered about placing some mesh screens in the bottom and filling the inside wall with beads.... Maybe one day.
