Yes, more pillars - basically they create a way to pass between two adjacent chambers, getting the input from a recessed top into the bottom perc..
I think it would work, but I don't think it'd be realistic at that point to build (or at least go from a pillar design to a single tube for the top...
I'm staring at that center section... The bubble welded to the top of the section with the pillar tubes that connect to the section below... A hole in the top gives us that splash line that turns the jet fountain into a bubble bath.
Imagine if you copy and paste that whole center section...
For the spacing, would moving the joint up help? Ideally you could raise it like 4 inches just so that the lower connection hits the top of the center chamber instead of the middle. This would make it less Mobius bubbler-like and actually add convenience (for vapes, nails and, God forbid...
FWIW, Sovereignty considers that bent neck design to be their "Natty" splash guard. (Not sure if it's named after the artist). I've seen similar necks to your last design act functionally as a splash guard, but not sure if would be as effective... I think there's an increased chance of the...
I see what is meant by the tree perc comment in that the pillars into the top is a very similar structure. I think this is a good thing if it allows a similar technique they're already familiar with to incorporate it into production.
Excellent, @vis !
I broke out my EQ for the first time in months the other weekend to play with bags and wound up with this exact same setup (with short tubing and mouth of bag piece just fitting inside the top of SSV wand to keep snug). May look odd to some, but actually felt quite natural...
I usually sprinkle a bit of ISO onto each cutting side of my SCS grinders, use a dish brush (mine's a glass scrubber with a neck and a circular brush on the end) - I just twist the side into the brush a couple times, close the sides together with some ISO still inside, shake it like a Polaroid...
Awesome "glass reclaim"!
Hoping this part's a joke? bad bad things tend to happen with alkaline-based cleaners and anodized metals...
Edit: pro'lly time to bring out the gruesome photos again?
There's no warranty issue here, just a Canadian one ;)
The unit does adjust the temperature +/- 1 degree at a time, but in degrees Celsius! If your unit is set to display Fahrenheit instead of Celsius, this doesn't change -- but the conversion will make the Farenheit temperature skip every few...
I've torched the glass vxnails many times with success, but did manage to deform one a bit. This was with a Vector torch. I'm sure the quartz ones will maintain shape regardless of the amounts of butane thrown at it, and in doing so clean up much quicker, but been holding off because of the...
I've had mine plugged in for over a year, but though a UPS that runs my computer as well. My only issue is seeing it on sale for half the price I pre-ordered it for ;)
Honestly, I use it with the Cloud EVO itself and see it more as a novelty with the Extreme-Q (which sits all sad on a shelf most of the time). I had a bit of fun this weekend - instead of letting that bowl sit snugly in the elbow, I left it loose so that it would slide back and forth like a...
