Yuuuup, I get solid clouds with ~.08-.1g whether through my bubbler or dry. I actually start at 2 usually when I vape dry, to really savor the terpenes (the chemicals that give it the taste and smell), then bump it up to 3 and 4. Bubbler is usually starting at 3 or 4 and all the way up to 7...
Pack it too tightly and with the restriction of the Solo (more with the older models) it can cause headaches from trying to pull so hard. I think the restriction the Solo has works well to balance airflow and not overwhelming the heater, a good guide. Packing hard on top of that is going to lead...
No, this is the same guy...
that needs about 1/3 of @lwien's stash to get high. I bet it's getting vaporized but you're holding it in and not exhaling any vapors, but still absorbing them. I can get visible vapor with medium-fine grind, enough to cover the screen just barely. That's sounding...
Master Yoda pickup tonight, the club owner cut me a deal because I didn't want to spend too much to stay within budget, and today is apparently "FREE BLUNT FRIDAY" which means I gutted it and threw the herb (mix of little ground up buds/shake) into a jar. Master Yoda is a Master Kush x Yoda OG...
I make it flat. Then put flower in, then the flat dome screen tophat thing goes on top and presses down on the flower a little. It also lifts the flower away from the heater a little bit, while not making the bowl-end of the stem any longer. Keeps flower out of the heater 100%!
That for $225, around that size, but with a female 18mm joint and a disk base, would be an awesome piece. Even more with the uranium glass  daddy needs to win the lottery
Why not go at them with a drill a little bigger than the center hole where the screws thread? It would provide some space for the screw heads to go down. If the base plate is thick enough the screws should sit flush or maybe even a little lower, assuming we're using the same flat screws and not...
For what it's worth, here in California, I'm a medical patient. I've seen lots of middle-aged ladies, probably moms (some I know from hearing them talking about their kids) in the budrooms getting their stuff. I met a LOT of "stoner girls" on campus taking classes. I suspect a lot of them don't...
I believe they were 1 inch screens? Make a dome screen, then carefully flatten the edges of it so that it conforms to the shape of the inside of the stem. Trim to clean excess or any frays! If you want to use micro loads grind your material very fine, and add a little into the basket. The top...
Pack it and press down a bit so it stays under the rim around 1/8 inch. Take the first few hits upside down so the trichomes melt and glue everything together. The bits that end up touching the heat sink get vaped via conduction and they usually end up really overcooked, tasting gross. I put a...
I'm using my busted stock stem-turned-GonG a lot more than my PVHES as well. It's a little more restricted on the draw but I get a little thicker vapor with stock stems. Keeping my PVHES around in case this one breaks.
Ya know who else uses it? Brewers. People that need to clean carboys and stuff 100% before sterilizing. I have no qualms with using PBW with the glass I use to vape. It turns the water kinda slippery and is easy to know when it fully washes out. Safer than ISO unless your glass gets slippery...
The Cosmo one looks more appropriate for flower vaping tbh. Can't even see a picture of the pen chamber... most only have one picture. Wouldn't trust it to actually vape.
