I'm a little confused as well @paytonpenn Is the battery pack acting as a back-up battery for when the battery is dead only or can it actually charge the device as well? I guess if it was acting as a back-up battery that would be better in a sense because you don't have to wait for the device to...
The only thing that is kinda eerie to me is that the pictures of the ESV chamber resemble a serial number starting with E? So far I have not heard of this. The first time I saw this I shrugged it off and though they were a picture of a European model or something, but then just the other day...
Unfortunately I cannot. My talk about a new device with Joe was very general. He did say it was based on the current ESV platform/body and that is all I really recall. The way it came up was he was telling me how the features I love most about the ESV will be part of the design on the new...
New version is in beta testing. Timeline is unknown. I talked with Joe about it two weeks ago and it does sound like it's going to be great, but they still had firmware kinks to resolve and then beta testing so its gonna be a little while before units are ever getting produced.
Have you received the battery bank you mentioned yet? I am really anxious to get one of these. I have been toting my home charger around with me and charging in between sessions but it would be much less hassle if I didn't have to remember to tote my home charger around.
So I purchased the microbub from shopxhale.com as well as some other pieces. The micro bub I purchased (link below) comes as a nectar collector kit. It is less than $10 and would be about $15 probably after tax and shipping. I put my order in on Friday. My order shipped on Monday and delivered...
@seaofgreens A hydrotube can often be used with a Daisy. I used to use one often and posted about it in this thread back in June or July. The Daisy just works so well as it is, that after about two weeks I lost interest in using it with the Hydrotube. I just rip it dry everytime.
You should...
Where did you buy yours from? You might be operating on the old hardware. Easy way to check is to plug it in and see if you can still take a hit. If you can you have old firmware and need to update. If it looks like it works but you get no vapor or heat, then the new firmware is loaded. The ESV...
Their website states "Orders will ship in the order received please allow 3-5 days for processing when you receive shipping & tracking confirmation your order is being processed & may still take 2-3 days for tracking to become active".
I know your time line is beyond 3 days, but OL just got...
I would not let the non-removable battery steer you away from this device. It charges relatively quick. From a dead battery to a full charge, most report about an 1 hour to 1-1/2 hour charge time. It is very pocketable as I often carry it in and out of my office in my pocket. You will really get...
I didn't get offended by your comments. I just wanted to add to the discussion. Likewise, I don't want to be offensive either. For me there is no win in this debate because I would easily choose not to drive if I could regardless of state of mind or level of medication.
I find that if you get overzealous and pack the capsule too tight, you will have to do long slow primer hits more often and you will get some restriction on air flow. As @paytonpenn mentioned before, 3/4 capsule is best for huge tasty clouds!
@firewood Marc, I had a great inspirational thought...
I wish I could. My better half actually prefers me to drive instead of herself, yet she knows I was just vaping because she was yelling at me to hurry up so we could leave. My better half does not partake and does not care that I do unless its one of those times that it becomes an inconvenience...
I didn't know either until I tried sending a vape back for warranty earlier this year, almost got suckered in to buying the brown boxes inside that they charge you for.
If you go back to this post #996 and read some of the posts before this one it will make more sense but basically I was making the same point as @VegNVape that with an aggressive technique and big torch you can clear the bowl in one or two hits. Others have commented in the past that you can as...
With herbs/flowers you can vape upside down, sideways or however. It's only with concentrates that you need to keep the ESV with the red light pointing up.
WOW! What a deal! That is the cheapest anyone has gotten it for I'm sure. Good thing you have bought from them before and felt confident in purchasing from them again. Some of us were concerned about that seller as we have not heard about them before. You purchased a solid vaporizer so let us...
Not sure what kind of concentrate your working with, but you could also make a flower sandwich. I have done this before with the ESV. The great thing about the ESV is that the heater is above the material so you don't have to worry about the wax/oil dripping into the electronics or on the coil.
You should be fine. Check out this video where Vape Dr. uses a concentrate pad he cut to size for the ESV. In the video he claims the oil pads are a prototype and will be soon to be released but they never were. From what I recall, he just used the Volcano concentrate pad. I ordered one myself...
