Vaporizer comparison table - can you help complete it, and nitpick what's already there?

    I believe these are the temps for the vb2: 1) 370 F 2) 395 F 3) 420 F 4) 445 F 5) 470 F

Vaporizer comparison table - can you help complete it, and nitpick what's already there?

This spreadsheet is very helpful, but is missing a factor that is very important to me when picking a vape - restriction (or resistance). I do not like vapes that have a highly restricted draw - don't like to feel out of breath. I am not sure how you would include this, but I would like to at...

That's pretty cool. Does the dome shape help you to see into the bowl? Sometimes I go a little cross-eyed looking into the bowl while inhaling.

Are you guys putting a fine grind in it? One difference as I mentioned before is that I break mine down with my fingers, not a grinder, so that there's some fluff to it in the bowl. Sawdust is highly combustible, so if that's what you're using maybe try it my way.

I don't own a solo, but if it's anything like my vaporblunt 2 then I consider it more in the easy bake oven category. The FV is more of a zen instrument like a katana vs an automatic weapon. I suppose you may have a defective one, but I say stick with it, keep practicing, go with the flow...

Try going heavy on the button and definitely use the window to see and suck in microhits. After you inhale the microhit, stop drawing breath and keep the button down while giving it a shake. When you see the next wisp grab another microhit. Build up multiple hits before exhaling.

    I don't believe the new FVs are coming with the S-2 kits - it's a separate add-on.

This stock vs S-2 debate is similar to feelings in the sports car world. Some want a V8 monster doing burnouts and killing the 1/4 mile, while others like me prefer a manual 4 or 6 cylinder so they can really wind out the motor and take the curves samurai style.

Yes, when using S-2 I only hold down for about 5 seconds. Edit: Initially about 5 seconds, but then I hold down longer as needed as a I take in micro hits. I know I could tone it down, but I still think the 3.7v is too hot for my preference in vapor quality.

Stock FV takes more practice IMO, so be patient learning. I hold the button down, count to 10, draw, and build up micro-hits. And then as it heats up more, and the material dries out, vary as needed - it's an art more than a science. Don't be afraid to hold that button down until you see swirls...

I also like the fine control that stock FV gives over avb production. Light brown with a few green speckles - fill both halves of a gelcap, press together, swallow ... and POW! - an hour or two later blown out of the water like a mad duck. Too many vapes go to 90 too fast leaving you with toast...

You must be taking your foot off the pedal - not fair! Seriously - just gets too hot for me. Edit: I think that increases the CBN percentage too - better for med users.

No, but I should - seems like it may be too soft, but worth a try. Thanks.

An update on my feelings on the S-2 vs. the stock FV. After using the S-2 for a week or so I have decided that the stock FlashVape is definitely for me. The higher temps of the S-2 produce bigger clouds, but IMO these clouds are too hot and the "vapor" too close to smoke - nearly combustion...

Is breaking your spacer like losing your virginity? Spacer = hymen? I must be a piker compared to some of you because mine is intact too.

FlashVape, I think I know the answer to this question, but would like to confirm with you. Is the bottom switch just a safety as I assume? If I leave the bottom switch on will my batteries drain faster than if I turn it off? (assuming I'm not hitting the side switch) I would doubt there's...

Right - herb is definitely a shitty conductor, but the air passing through the herb would be convection. Shaking the load is a way to even it out because the herb that does touch the bottom cooks faster (or combusts faster sometimes!). Edit: The spacer may help the thin bottom layer to cook...

    FlashVAPE

I agree somewhat as far as the herb at the bottom, but if filled half full then even with a stock FV most of it would be cooked by convection anyway it seems. Good debate. Maybe FlashVape will weigh in. Seems to me that the main benefit of the spacer is reduced combustion due to the bottom herb...

Only the weed at the bottom (and prob the sides somewhat through heat transference) touch the heating element, and even then the screens separate somewhat in the stock config - so just not sure the thin spacer increases the separation significantly especially since most of the herb doesn't touch...

Does the spacer really make it that much more of a convection device? I need to try it without the spacer but with the 3.7v batteries to see if I can tell much of a difference. Seems like the bowl would have to be further removed from the heat source to make a big difference convection-wise. A...
