Is that like smooching with ya mother-in-law? 🤔😲 For those who are colour blind - the green one is next to the purple! 😁😉 It's not really comparable in that fashion. From my view, convection is the best method currently, but if there isn't enough power (calories/joules) to heat the air enough...

Consider New Technology - Pyrolysis is sweet spot between vape and combustion

That's not a problem, I'm the master of arseholes when it comes to being argumentative online. You're welcome to disagree (I actually welcome tht) but without clear consise reasons that use my actual words and break down my conclusions by actually specifying what is incorrect, it's not helping...

Oo-er missus! 😳 (So a hand job doesn't cut it then? 😊) This is also (imho) why comparisons of the stems aren't all that helpful, the v2 stem is having to deal with much more heat. Be interesting to try the v1 head and bowl on the v2 stem. I agree about the t2 and I reckon the more power...

Consider New Technology - Pyrolysis is sweet spot between vape and combustion

Did you not read my comment? I said specific definition - i.e. a scientific one, a highly accurate description. Other uses of the word pyrolysis can involve so many possibilities that can include combustion. As far as I care, a definition is specific accurate and precise, or it's of only little...

Consider New Technology - Pyrolysis is sweet spot between vape and combustion

It depends whether you're talking about specific definitions or general useage of the word. I tend towards the formal version, this is Wikipedia's version to chew on... Pyrolysis is a process involving the separation of covalent bonds in organic matter by thermal decomposition within an inert...

Consider New Technology - Pyrolysis is sweet spot between vape and combustion

Er, yes? What else? The whole idea seems pointless anyway as the ideal situation is to vapourise the active terpenoids while minimising the production of toxins and carcinogens. The temperature required to safely (safely is a relative term, but significantly safer than any sort of combustion) is...

"The NORML-MAPS study tested a device called the M1 Volatizer, an aromatherapy vaporizer developed by Alternative Delivery Systems, Inc. It consisted of an electric heating element in a chamber that radiates heat downwards over a sample of marijuana sitting in a standard pipe or “bong” bowl...

Consider New Technology - Pyrolysis is sweet spot between vape and combustion

I wouldn't take a great deal of stock from that article, certainly what was written in the link was not especially scientific, and in addition it's nearly 25 years old. I would question their whole experimental setup for starters, plus they say benzene started at 200℃ and attribute to...

Are you saying all the comments are unreasonably hostile or just some? And which one's (unless you're claiming all are BS?). If it's only some posts you object to, then you're tarring all with the same brush, which hardly seems fair either - maybe be specific about what claims you think are...

Don't let us filthy Brits put you off posting! Our gobs are far larger than our brains (well, ok, my gob is larger than my brain!)), we'll be needing some grounded interjections to balance the Tempest 2 induced insanity out a bit! Regards cooling, for my t'penth worth, I think the Revolve...

I'll take any colour you like, as long as it's black! 😎 @Andreaerdna - yes, there's a posting from @HaggisHunter with some before and after piccies of the T2 broken down, from his anodizing session. The cooling path is different to the original T. though most seem quite happy with it. I've not...

The T2 fits the leather case from the T1. It's showing as sold out on the site, but since Brenyo mentioned this (that it fits) I assume he's planning on re-stocking them.

I'm guessing it's mostly the extra calories it can hold and deliver that's the biggest single factor improving the effects. Reasoning goes: To extract pretty much everything out of the flower (all the terpenes and cannabinoids in the main) you have to reach a certain temperature in the bowl...

Personally I find the green colour works much better in natural daylight than artificial (domestic LED) light. But even in artificial, the green is better than the original metallic finish of the T1 (my colour perception isn't the best so this'll be rather subjective of course).

Afraid my education is rather restricted and niche, I only know Barnham was a famous showman and in some way controversial - sorry! FYI: In case it isn't obvious, I'm way in to the divergent spectrum so my comms are often easy to misinterpret, and for many they come across in a negative fashion...
