It was a Arizer Extreme that burned me, as well as my old Vapolution glass straws. I also broke glass bowls and mouthpieces, so I'm a bit leery of having to deal with a hot glass stem again... Btw, the AA looks like a Royer 101 Ribbon Microphone : )

HI all, I'm on the fence between a Davinci Ascent and the Arizer Air. Both are on sale until 11:59 tonight. I do like being able to quickly turn off and put away (my Pax) in my pocket while on the street, so my questions are 1) Does the short glass stem on the AA still get very hot to the touch...

Ok, thanks! I was curious if there was any drop test done by the company. I'm imagining the "pass" between friends, and if it dropped with the mouthpiece extended out, how easily it might break.

Hello fellow vaporists! Question on the Ascent. If you drop it, would the two pieces of glass inside shatter?
