It sounds as though your liquid isn't at fault.
I took florduh's advice and tried the Vaporesso cCell atomisers.
I got an Aspire Atlantis to run them as it is available from DH Gate for peanuts.
This setup is a surprisingly big step up from my (simple) dual kanthal coiled RDA.
I thoroughly...
If I had the evic vtc mini, I'd consider a sub ohm tank, or maybe an RDA.
Low resistance has proven far more successful for me than pen style carto's, but that's just my :2c:, and I'm pretty new to this too, so no expert!
I have an RDA and sub tanks, but have only used the RDA so far.
My mod...
@Fkn0wned, thanks for posting that  these devices have just become substantially more interesting!
Once they feature quartz/Sic/ceramic nails, and user settable temps it will be impossible not to buy one!
I'd also be forced to get some custom glass made :science:
Something like this...
I say thin it out until it will vape well in the o-pen, then just keep vaping until you get to where you want to be.
Too weak is at least thin enough to work, but too thick might clog/not work/burn.
Weak?!
I'd say 1:1 is exactly half the strength of straight up dabs.
That means that two big lungfulls is equivalent to a single big dab lungfull, so all that's required is twice as many hits.
(This assumes a decent setup such as sub-ohm which will allow big hits with a thick 1:1 mix)
I dilute...
@ROTHKO
I've had much better results with more dilute juice in a cheap sub-ohm set up than I got from pen style e-cigs.
I know you asked for a specific o-pen application, but I really advise a rethink on the hardware, and maybe the dilution too (maybe a sub-ohm can cope with 1:1, but Ive not...
Damn, I'm sorry to hear of your troubles Joel.
I really hope that either things don't turn out as you fear, or that if they do, it turns out to be some sort of unforeseen opportunity.
Good luck with everything man, glad you're going to keep us posted.
I imagine any metal hard/strong enough to survive the 'crush' would be fine, as it doesn't come into contact with your herb/rosin unless something has gone wrong.
I suppose a thin sheet stainless 'skin' might help your peace of mind?, and would be fairly easy to make.
I can't help but notice a fairly big difference between e-cig forum conversations which discuss DIY mixes, and the convo' here.
in most of the e-cig threads I refer to, noobs (to DIY) often complain of bad or unexpected results when tasting their mixes.
The 'old hands' almost invariably advise...
Vapeur Extract working well for me here.
Roughly 4:1 or 5:1 ratio so pretty dilute, and thin, but still no nasty 'plastic' taste that I've seen others have a problem with (other diluents).
RDA's here too, but Ive also got a tank and ceramic atomisers on order.
Plus stainless mesh and Clapton...
Bergamot!
Nice citrussy flavour with a slight twist.
Less Sunny-D, more Earl Grey
Mandarin is nice.
Strawberry too.
Something with a crisp natural apple would work for me too.
I've not tried any of the 'cream' or 'milk' flavours, they sound intriguing, but I think the more natural the taste...
I don't have my hopper yet, so take this with a pinch.....
But everything I've read so far leads me to believe that after the auto shut off, we're required to click once to fully switch off, then again to switch on.
Remember that pinch of salt though.
Those Flower Drops look to be the ideal way to finish a bowl off in style @RastaBuddhaTao!
But I'm having trouble finding an online vendor, any chance you (or anyone else) could linky?
I also wonder if Flower Drops would be a good way to rehydrate rosin chips for consumption in the Zion...
