I still can’t decide on getting the Scruffywoofers adapter, or just buying the TSwooden stem. Maybe I should just get the TS now, and then get the Scruffy adapter later on when they’re available.

I follow Lee’s method to a T, and get great results and the dark ABV I spoke of, doing the 3 reheats. Make sure the depth is correct. I’m using the Dynavap adapter insert, unlike him though. But I copied his depth; divots on the head basically flush with the top of the Wand.

I’ve admittedly never used a Forge, but have been using my Tornado in the Wand. They work great together. I use Lee from Tabletop Bong’s method; Tornado inserted so the divots on the head are level with the top of the Wand, 525F until timeout for the cold start, then 10-12 blinks for reheats...

When I got mine, I broke it down and soaked the whole thing in iso for like an hour, rinsed it with hot water, let it sit out unassembled (I didn’t disassemble the head though) to dry, then heated it up in the Wand while empty. Good enough for me and haven’t had any taste issues or anything.

I was signed up for general newsletter emails (not the “email when back in stock” emails) from Sneaky Pete and got the one stating the Tornado was in stock for the last batch, and was able to grab one. Definitely sign up for the emails there, too.

I’m loving this thing. I feel like the Tempest has it beat in the flavor category, but I think that’s it. I don’t see myself selling my Tempest like I have with other devices in the past, but the Tornado is my new daily device for sure.

Get a Reload Gen 2. It’s made my sessions so much more convenient. I bought it with a “this thing seems pretty cool” mindset, but after using it, I wish I had gotten one sooner.
