If you wanna go the non-toxic route, I'd recommend Howard Butcher Block conditioner. Essentially it has mineral oil, bee's wax and Carnauba wax. The mineral oil will soak in and seal/season the wood while the wax adds a protective layer.

Ahh.. gotcha.. so its more of a personal tactile expectation that the Orbiter didn't completely meet. I'm curious how soon before we see it at other retailers so I can possibly use a coupon code or something to obtain one.

Is the bottom really not that secure? By all accounts I heard it was a pretty solid base.. but I don't personally know.

All this glass talk is pushing me forward on getting one. I've always been interested in the past. My question is, are there any bubblers out there that are cheaper/more cost-efficient and at around the same size vs The Orbiter? I want quality, the whips, warranty, etc to all be considered...

Yea, since the LB was my first vape.. that instant heating definitely spoiled me. Whenever I go out and use something like the Pax outside before heading in somewhere.. it seems like an eternity for the unit to heat up.

Yea.. really odd. I've owned 2 MFLB and neither of em had anything like that. Admittedly I don't even use the driest herbs all the time.

I remember seeing Underbutter when buying my log vape. It sounds like its very similar to Howard's conditioner. Essentially combination of wax and oil.

I went with Howard's conditioner because I remember I've had good results with it on the wooden handles of my butcher knives. It's got mineral oil which penetrates and seals the wood and then also contains a combination of bee and carnauba wax for exactly the reason OF described.

Solid choices.. dunno why I let both slip my mind. Just put in an order of good old reliable Howard's butcher block conditioner.

What wax do you use? I have some really nice Ren Wax, but thats best left to make firearms look good rather than something like the MFLB.

For all of those hesitating on what to buy first.. I would definitely agree with getting the PA first. Before it, I didn't think much of it because I was already so used to rotating batteries and it was nothing.. but now with the PA, even that seems like a chore.

That is awesome.. how much of an impact does the smaller size have on cooling/filtering vapor?

Sucks to hear.. but think of it this way.. at least it wasn't a $200+ one. Mine generally stays at home too, but I know the times I do take mine out that if I lost it, as much as it'd pain me at least I know it could have been much worse. If nothing else, the time spent waiting for another one...

There are already videos on their site and in this thread on vaping technique. IMO the reason why something like the Solo works better for the average user is because everyone is more accustomed to just sucking out vapor like drinking a milkshake. With the MFLB, my technique is moreso "pulsing"...
