Thanks for all the input so far guys. Looks like log vapes are the way to go for a small desktop unit.
As already mentioned earlier.. tried the Solo and it just wasn't for me. I didn't mind the restrictive draw and I even had an Ed's TNT wood stem. It just wasn't as effective for me as the...
I had the Solo and I just recently sold it to get another MFLB. As mentioned in previous threads.. I just found the MFLB to be more effective. Also, contrary to popular opinion.. the Solo didn't have the best vapor flavor for me or my girlfriend... and I had the newest model as well as having...
Now I'm looking for a desktop vape.. but I'd like it small so I can potentially carry it around easily to a friend's house. One that has caught my attention is the Underdog Twig. Log vapes in general look interesting, are there any advantages to them over say something like a SSV?
All...
A lot of it probably has to do with draw technique and knowing the perfect time to ease off the power source before things start combusting. My friend who usually only smokes.. can't for the life of him get anything out of using the MFLB.. but he had similar results using the Pax.
I'm surprised so many people are putting the MFLB so low on how high it gets them. Barring high quality desktop units and something along the lines of a gravity bong.. the MFLB seems to be the most effective for me. Of the 3 portables that I've used/owned extensively.. I would rank it around...
I know its already been mentioned that UFC fighter Nick Diaz is an avid cannibis user.. and does triathalons for "fun" and training.. but he also says using it during training helps his "sensitivity" when training jiu jitsu. It also helps him be more creative to come up with new moves.
A lot...
You should get the concentrate tray for the MFLB. They sell it on their store. I've never used it, but I'm guessing your scenario is exactly why they offer it.
Magic Flight now has a concentrate tray that can be used for oils and such. I've never used it myself but I'm one in the minority where MFLB was my first vape, got a Solo.. and now I'm back to MFLB. I love the on-demand heat-up and for whatever reason I get far more effects from MFLB vs any...
I'm waiting for MFLB to release their updated power adapter. When I vape, its usually just between me and my girlfriend.. so the MFLB does this perfectly.
My friend who cannot for the life of him get the draw technique correctly for the MFLB gets better results using the Solo.
As an update.. I ended up getting another MFLB afterall. Fired it up today and forgot how effective it is. Maybe I got the draw technique down nearly perfect.. but a few hits gets me as high as an entire bowl with the Solo and I have both the glass stems as well as Ed's wood for it.
I'll...
I can vouch for the Solo. Its a pretty damned good portable with clean taste and easy to pass amongst friends.
Having said that.. I recently went back to MFLB. I know it gets hosed on for being "cheap" or just good for a first vape.. but personally I get better results with the MFLB than I...
I forgot to mention.. I'd also prefer to have the option of a power adapter. I couldn't seem to find any for the FlashVape.. but that might just be because its still too soon. THanks again everyone for the suggestions so far.
That seems about right. As mentioned.. with proper technique and shaking.. I always seem to get the most out of materials using MFLB vs all the other vapes I've used (haven't used FlashVape yet, but from what I've read, similar to MFLB). I'm not saying I'm getting the highest quality vapor...
I'll take a look at Silver Surfer and Life Saber as well. As mentioned.. I don't necessarily need stealth.. but I want something that is small and conveniently put away into my desk drawer.
Thanks everyone for their inputs so far.
Yea, when I purchase the MFLB again, I was thinking of getting the power adapter with it. I was wondering whether or not I should bother with the finish grinder but it sounds like its working out for you. I have a Space Case and it seems to get it fine enough.
I thought about a desktop unit...
That seems like an awful lot of trouble.. especially considering that I've even spilled materials the first load per session (rarely though). A lot of people say the vapor quality of the Solo is superior, but honestly I found the MFLB pretty similar.. that might be because I already have the...
SO I started off with a MFLB and got an Arizer Solo earlier this year. I like the Solo good enough..but I realized for my purposes I still tend to lean more towards usign the MFLB. I don't need total stealth.. but the part of the MFLB that goes with my needs so well is the fact that it doesn't...
