I believe the idea has always been to raise the temps for concentrates, two canisters for dry herb and two for concentrates come with it. Pictures in the first post may be wrong, but that hasn't changed.

I'd consider it replaceable, not swappable. Haze made it sound like it was a modular plug also, so probably only easily charged in the unit.

Capsules are all the same, but they have a smaller pad that fits the capsules. With that, you can add liquids to that pad. It works well with thicker viscosities, just can't be water thin.
