I'm sure it's based on individual use styles and such, but I believe they said an average user would replace them about once every six months. There's only one, so for the cost of a pair per year, it's not bad maintenance overhead IMO.

Just a guess, but probably next to nothing. The mouthpiece may be shorter to facilitate the capsule, but I'm guessing the capsule takes up that extra space. Or at least I'm hoping....

My Ti heats up significantly different than my SS, I can't compare heat retention, cool down, etc.

I'm not too proud to say I've combusted, both during learning and since. Most have come later in sessions when not paying attention, or when adjusting to a torch, but it happens. Either way, I enjoy the journey, I hope others keep the same mentality :clap:

It's been a while, but I believe Ere 001 is just a battery over temperature warning. Was it in a hot car or something before charging? Might not need to be sent in...
