I don't have 3, but I did receive my second TinyMight last week. As I suspected it is not identical to my first TinyMight.
The most immediately noticeable difference is a green LED that flashes once when I power on the new TM. It flashes green once before reverting to red. On my old TM it never...
I received my Ti IO yesterday. For those keeping track, I pre-ordered on 12/2/2019, confirmed my order on 3/15/2020, and received it on 6/4/2020. It came with the 3 extra batteries that I added to the order. All four batteries that I received are matte label GHB2s. I did a quick visual...
I got my shipping notifications! :)
I have a number of Hoppers to try the threads on, and two adapters coming, so I'm curious to see what percentage threads smoothly.
Just and FYI on the hidden menu to adjust the heater calibration - it only works on newer units. I tried the steps on my unit (ordered December 10, 2019) and it didn't work.
I really could not disagree more with the statement "the grasshopper isn't stealthy in a way that matters". For me it is easily the most stealthy of all vapes that I've owned over the last 10 years.
I keep it in a leather sleeve when not in use...
@maxvapor710 - I'm also confused / concerned. I did NOT opt for the early shipment, preferring to wait for everything to be available. I have not received any notification emails to complete my order since the original one on 2/12/2020. I did not complete either of my two orders at that time...
I carry one good battery in my laptop case which I carry onto the plane. So no lithium ion batteries in my checked luggage, just the Hopper with a clean chamber. And I've never had an issue with the battery in my carry on.
I haven’t tried taking a Hopper through a metal detector but I have tried taking a Pax Era through metal detectors at a major theme park. Once it went through undetected and once it was detected. Given that track record with a Pax Era, which is tiny compared to a Hopper, I would never try...
@maxvapor710
I assume that this is meant for those who wanted their orders fulfilled now instead of waiting for the final mold injected parts?
I have two orders in but would prefer to wait until everything is ready.
My experience with my 2016 Ti Hopper is that once the screen started coming loose it continued to do so, even after cleaning/tightening/cleaning/tightening...
The screen became dented by so many attempts to tighten it. I eventually just replaced the front end.
Hope you have better luck....
TM hits are cooler than Hopper hits (native with standard front end). TM has less draw restriction. TM produces vapor more quickly. I take ~10 second draws on the Hopper but ~6 to ~8 second draws on the TM. Hopper has the more stealthy form factor. TM battery lasts a lot longer. I charge the...
I am actually excited about the plastic molded into the back end and battery clip. Sure it doesn’t move the performance meter, but it corrects something that has always bothered me about the OG Hopper. It’s the only vape I own that I need to put my reader glasses on so I can read the temp dial. ;)
I find that unscrewing the front end before the load is fully vaped causes the screen to come loose on my Ti Hopper. When the material is not fully vaped it can be sticky. A well vaped load is drier and less likely to stick to the front end screen. This is true whether the Hopper is warm or cool.
Before I got my Grasshoppers the FF2 was my daily driver (and the FF1 was my DD before that). I can just add that the TM is easier to use than the FF2. The FF2 had a learning curve for me that the TM never has. I’ve gotten good vapor from my first draw on the TM. A few months ago I broke out my...
This is my experience as well. I have only used the TM exactly as it came - no bowl size adjustment, no stem replacement. My CU is pushed as far down as it can go while still allowing the domed screen to fit.
Before the TM my daily driver was the Grasshopper. The smallest TM load, with domed...
Dare I ask...?
Has the "hot back end" been resolved in the newly designed io?
I'm not sure that I've ever used a Hopper that doesn't get a hot back end on occasion.
I have a 2016 Ti Hopper that works flawlessly (well it did have cop lights at one point, but blowing through the air holes corrected that and it's been flawless ever since).
However, it is not the hottest/best performing Hopper that I own. I have a Ti with a much newer body (2019 I believe) and...
I noticed that if I remove and reinsert the battery the TM will vibrate four times (with a fully charged battery) when I tighten the lid just enough.
Immediately after that, if I press the fire button once it will vibrate each time. If I press the fire button 3 times rapidly it will turn on as...
