Hey Dogs new vapes are up on the site now:
Vape Specials (figured walnut), a few SC3+ pieces and a handful of Alphas.
More next weekend if the schedule holds.
(from the refresh: SC3+ / SC3 / Alpha)
Not a regular glass stem, maybe with some super small tubing but the load would be smaller than other stems so probably not a direction anyone would want to go.
The Alpha does have straight glass stems available now, these are the largest size bowl we have in any stem.
I'm really...
Heya Dogs we're working on new pieces but won't be able to finish them until our wayward parts come in (supposedly this week).. just a heads up for those of you looking at the website and wearing out your refresh buttons. Once the parts do arrive we'll get them put up post-haste and it should be...
Yeah sorry to be the bearer of bad news.. we got rid of the regular glass stems. The quality was too inconsistent and way too many people broke them way too easy compared to the thick wall ones.. plus we needed to simplify things during the ongoing fire recovery.
Awesome glad you gave it another chance.. they're super nice and work great IMO.
We also have a batch of Heady Alpha Stems he made for us (thanks @508Phineas) that we still need to get pics of and put up on the website.. so much to do so little time.. damn I need an intern or some kind of helper.
The first time around when we made the Alpha Mk1 (3-5 years ago now?) we also made an 18mm NonG that used the inside fitting tip. We plan on making that one again as soon as we can in addition to the Direct Draw.
Each vape is different with a slightly different heating element and will need it's own specific voltage.. just a heads up so no one gets confused or frustrated thinking their Dog should run the same at the same voltage. One users 10.5v is anothers 12.5v :2c::peace:
Hey guys and gals.. sorry to hear a few of you are suffering with what I suspect are some janky VVPS from the covid batch we got screwed on last year. We test the hell out of them but a few here and there test ok but then don't deliver enough voltage once put into 'real' use. We've finally got...
They're basically required for use as each vape will need a different voltage and those voltages are almost always in between the ranges found in wall-warts so at a minimum you'd be using a wall-wart and dimmer combo.. and at that point you might as well use a VVPS and have a display. :2c:
We...
There isn't a set day/time/interval for us restocking them.. it's just as fast as we can make new ones. I'd hoped we'd have some done yesterday but I'm running behind again.. should be a handful by the end of this week if all goes well. :2c:
Hey Dogs - please do not use the 'wrap the vape' technique.. it's very easy to damage/destroy the vape and cause a fire. People got in the habit of doing this kind of stuff going way back to the Purple Days but it's dangerous and not ok for the Underdog, especially newer models.
@NightCall - I...
It has an airpath that is twice as long as the SC3 so the air has more opportunity to pick up heat. This makes it more powerful for taking bigger/longer rips but it's not hotter or allow more flower to be vaped. :2c: :peace:
TLDR - SC3+ is more efficient at heating air and at retaining...
Hey Dogs we're working overtime to get all your packages out and headed your way so we'll be a bit behind on catching back up with email and messages.. I should get back to most of you today once I've got the shipping desk cleared but bear with me until then. :peace::love:
Soon come...
Hi vapeit - we decided way back when to use the same stainless cartridge/element in all our vapes so all the current models share the same one.
When I was deciding what kind of elements to use I decided stainless was best since it doesn't have any chance of off-gassing, breaking or getting...
Haha sounds good!
Yeah there will be a SS stem for the Alpha.. both a Nylon handled one and possibly a solid SS one like the 'Lite' stem for regular core Dogs. We've actually already made both we're just out and haven't had the shop time to make more yet.
Ah ok.. it could be a tester then or a very, very early piece that bordered between testing and production.
If you get a pic of it that shows the top of the core and the plug side of the body let me know and I can probably tell you more.
You also might consider sending it in and having me...
Post a pic if you can/want.. I'm curious if it's a recent production piece or a test unit from last year.. either way though congrats.
Dang it, sorry dude. I have more I'm readying for this coming weekend too.. we didn't end up getting as many finished as I'd hoped for this week.
