I read the same. I thought just wiping with a dry q-tip is sufficient when hot. The point made was that the liquid may not escape from the clicking mechanism.

I've noticed that second click may not come out right away. My Omnivap I did a couple cycles with nothing in. Initially was just one click, then later did get the second click afterwards. Not sure if that is intentional or something specific to me.

Whats the approach? I just got an Apollo 2, and have a Caldron en route from Pipes.
