Yup, I'm with Steama on that ^^^. I have a 14mm glass bowl ordered from NV. I'm a flavor snob and can taste a subtle difference, but the NV bowls are robust and just look and taste great as part of the kit. The glass bowl has more play with the tolerance while mating with my Showerhead, but...
@fatbiker - I've owned both and IME they are very different vapes. Some similarities: a hefty, sturdy build that suits use as an at-home portable for me. MV1 flavor is off the charts in my book. Yes, you definitely can take a puff or two and return later for a quality remainder of the bowl. The...
I just got my LSV Shorty Wand based on @Vitolo's vids and comments. Fabulous flavor, and it seems less prone to a glass breaking incident. Somehow feels more 'portable' around the house which is great! With a slightly quicker draw technique, doesn't feel hot at all, just pleasant. Ahhhhhh.....
I'm probably in the minority on this, but I'd prefer if the rheostat was closer to the unit. For my home setup, it seems it would make the unit feel more stable and a bit more convenient to access temp stepping. Love my Nano though! I don't think I could ever part ways with it.
Data point – my new quartz heater is smaller than the OG heater. No frosted connection and smaller diameter makes it sit deeper into the wand. I may use OG heaters as daily drivers and keep quartz as the prized backup. I like it so far...
MV1 is a connoisseur vape IMO. It replaced my FF2 really well because of very comparable taste and superior low draw resistance. I used to have a Mighty however, and I do miss the ease of loading and reliable and even conduction/convection extracted AVB.
Ghost CS has been outstanding to me...
Yep, my current EVO whistles, too. I learned to consider it a measure of draw strength. I'm telling myself it's a charming feature of bamboo turbulence, not a bug!
KANDY KUSH + DRY HYDRABOMB + EVO = LIFE IS GOOD
My pleasure, @ataxian. I'm so lucky to still be enjoying EVO#2 here, too. Happy to spread the love.
The HOLY GRAIL is MEDICINE!
EVO = POWER + ELEGANCE + FLAVOR
Ok, I'm done fanboy-ing for now. Now go paint that thing!!!
I definitely noticed some short term effect with a convection dab on the ceramic disc; but since I got impatient, a small flower bowl right after might have been the culprit! I'm bad at science. I think my temp at 650 was too low for the dab, but just right for flower.
The NVFP is like a mad...
Hey, I just tried it thanks to your idea! I'm still an FP newbie, so I didn't get much result and wondering where I messed up. I tried 650, showercapped and somehow not much production. For me, the ELEV8R ceramic disc is amazing on the V8R's WPA into my bubbler.
Hi all - a question for fixed glass stem friends: will a medium grind (SC) or fluffly SCS grind pass some snacks through the fixed screen? How's the airflow compared to the adjustable?
I have an adjustable now, but a fixed glass on the way. I tried whole bud for flavor but really prefer...
@ataxian you've helped me discover my passion for the EVO a while back. I'm downsizing and would love to hook you up with one of my EVOs to pay it forward. PM me if interested my FC friend.
Hey friends, new Nano owner here. Picked one up on 4/20 and loving it. Regarding the E-pick – I know it's a multi-use measuring tool, but was curious about the load measure. Mine looks different than the one I found on pg. 712 or so, with the load measure notch in a different place. I like...
It's so excellent that vapes are as different as people are. The FP and ELEV8R scratch both itches that I have. I've never used so much butane so fast  . Thanks @Alexis for helping me discover that 7th Floor treasure.
My VAS has been cured (for now). Now, I am off to 'bruise' my FP coil...
I'm shopping around for FP glass and wondering if anyone here prefers a straight tube to a bent one. I'm using a tiny GravLabs upright bubbler and feel it doesn't do justice to the FP. Pages way back had Edwyn endorsing a new straight tube piece. Other than feel, are there any real differences...
Hi friends, new FP SH owner here. Sorry for the noob question but I'm only halfway searching through the 355 pages and have a question: is Ti (SH) an inferior surface to dab on, and why? Is it a clean/purity issue or flavor profile? Or both? Loving the SH for flowers so far but wondering if...
