This hasn't been my experience. It's better if I try to cool the chamber by taking a couple draws after powering it down but I still find reheating a chamber not very enjoyable.
I just pack less if I want less and always finish the bowl.
If you simply asked them to do that in your letter, they should contact you once they read it to get the upgrade fee payment and then they will send you a Mighty. It should be a very painless process.
Phew, I'm not the only one...
My Mighty is off to Oakland this morning. Still working well, just the lip of bowl cracked/broken in a few spots and since I'm off on a business trip for a few days, I figured now was the best time to send it off. :)
Hope the Crafty can keep up!

I've got about 20 hours on a Crafty that shipped a month or so ago (version 2.06 of firmware so one back from current as of today). I've only had issues connecting to it once over Bluetooth and it worked the next session so I haven't concerned myself.
As for heat, I don't think it's meant to...
The old units were more or less flush at the top when the cooling unit was removed. The new ones have a taller ridge that accepts the cooling unit locking mechanism to strengthen that area.
They are no longer listed on the site but here are the item numbers if anyone wants to try ordering them through email.

edit: They still have the fine screen set for Plenty listed but I don't think that's the same...
Welcome to FC first of all. As for your questions,
Could help. The slight conduction aspect of the mighty and crafty is supposed to ensure the first draws are cloudy too. I have my crafty at 185 starter temp and once the light goes green I wait 5-10 seconds before doing my first draw. Don't...
If I have the liquid pads or another screen handy I'll cover a small load but you are correct, it can just work. I'd guess how you hold it and how hard you pull would affects its performance when the materials are loose.
c23, your experience is definitely not normal, though I wouldn't leave it plugged in all the time like that. It's just wasting energy. Unplug it at full charge until you need to use it. With a working unit, you should be able to get 3-5 bowls/sessions depending on your usage before you need to...
Sorry to hear that but I am pretty sure Michel has been dealing with the Germany offices.
Rather than email, I would just follow the directions on their website of just sending it to them with a note explaining the issue.
I'm definitely more concerned about the plastic ridging where the cooling unit attaches. The extra thickness they have added there really looks like it will be a great change.
So I've had the Mighty since the beginning of March and got the Crafty a couple weeks ago. In my opinion, they are extremely similar in all ways except for battery life (pretty obvious considering Crafty has one cell and Mighty has two).
Both produce excellent, tasty vapor and extract...
