Was at a poker game last night and the looks I got when I said no to the joints... lol.. I finally had to take one and do a cigar style mouth toke to appease them. The taste was rancid, glad I didn't inhale. :D
Just received my Crafty yesterday so here is a take on fresh batteries with how I use the device:
Load full bowl (around .2), lightly compress. Fire it up and let it heat to my default of 185 C.
When it's at temp I take a ~10 second slow inhale directly to lungs saving enough room for a good...
So the Crafty was waiting for me after work, ya to bcvapor for a quick shipment! I plugged it in for the first charge and as it was charging I opened the app on my iphone 6+ and connected to it no problem. Set my temps, brightness, etc. and closed the app on my phone. I did all this without...
Ahh.. Didn't realize I had found a different item than the standard D020.
Wow. I'm quite new to DH Gate and the whole knockoff china glass scene... Had no idea these were knockoffs of known designs or whatever.
So yes, amazing savings over the genuine article. :)
Hmm.. I see this:

Shows an estimated final cost of $35.77US which at current exchange rate is around $45. :(

That's what you want. Works with Crafty and Mighty. He has a 14mm version too. Works great!
edit: as for that Crafty cooling unit, perfect example of why the top screen should be the same fine mesh as the bottom. :D
Loaded up the Mighty with 5 bars of juice, set to 185 C and let it start warming up.. Somewhere along the way I swapped to F and wasn't able to change it back. No big deal but not related to power as I suspected.
Your best bet was when Canadian sellers had it at the new $399 price. That was...
Over time it will affect performance for sure. I just used a precision screwdriver and pried up a corner to get it out. Soaked it in ISO and got it looking decent again. Used ISO on q tips to clean bowl and then put screen back. Like new again!
Edit: used my finger to push screen back in.
After a full charge, switching between C and F works again. Don't imagine it takes much power to switch the display so I am not sure it is related to the low charge or not. I'll test again the next time I let it get under 2 bars.
Tracking number received, my Mighty's little bro should be here tomorrow! Did some sessions with the Mighty last night only using 180 and 195 to see how it felt/tasted. I think I'll probably use 185 and 199 as my two temps for when I'm not wanting to use the phone to tweak.
+1 for still using glass with the vape. Thanks to Ratchet and his adapters, my Mighty (and soon to be Crafty) pair very nicely with this $50 double diffusing bong I picked up.
So I think the Mighty is jealous of the Crafty that is on the way. Ordered the Crafty yesterday and shortly after getting the shipping notification I fired up the Mighty. Decided to try using it like the Crafty (180 and 195 C)... Things were going well and then I thought I'd switch to F to...
If you aren't filling the bowl, it keeps the plant materials from flying around within the bowl when you pull hard. Most vapes work best when the material isn't overly loose.
On a full load, it was to keep the materials out of the cooling unit since the screen in the CU is so coarse.
I bought a $50 fancy 4 piece grinder... I think it was spacecase... I find the acrylic 2 piece orange thing that came with my Mighty does a better job (for vaporization anyway). The spacecase just didn't grind it fine enough for my tastes.
Anyone know of a decent metal two piece similar to...
For a bit I was laying a screen on top of full loads too but stopped doing that when I switched to finer screens in the cooling unit. Less hassle when doing full loads and the plant materials never gets in to the CU with the finer mesh.
