So I got to use my Luna for the first time last night and I was able to get about 5 good hits off the .5 chunk of shatter loaded then it quit working. I loaded it up again with about .2 of shatter and held the button down to melt the pea size chunk into the ceramic. The concentrate did warm up...
It came out good for a trim run. I kept the temps really low and it ended up some decent shatter.
Yeah I did. I had it sitting in the freezer for 3 days so all the waxes were able to fall to the bottom and collect there. If I were to let it start to come back up in temp or had I not left...
Just winterized a run of some trim (all I have excess of atm). It was a pretty small run at 2 ounces but this is what was filtered out and left at the bottom when I was done ...
I have 4 3400mah batteries in it and the stock pnp battery is 2000mah so 6 or 7? Haven't tried it out.
Have you heated it up to level 5 and let it get good and hot before you try to pry the bullet out?

Good question ... I went until the display read 0 then put it on the charger but I don't know what the remaining voltage in the battery is when the display reads 0. I'm going to drain it down to 0 again then take it apart and test each separate cell to see what the remaining voltage is. I...
If anyone is interested the battery pack finally died after a little over 4.5 hours. The voltage was very stable at 12.71 in the beginning and finished at 12.68 on the 13.0 volt setting. I thought the voltage was going to lower significantly as the battery pack drained but as you can see it...

@Buildozer it displays the battery level unless you click the button then it switches to the voltage setting for a couple of seconds.

The leads are necessary to make the rod heat up.
I'm trying to picture what you mean by wrapping a coil around half of it to get it to work. The rod has 2 metal leads ... a positive and a negative. Inside the ceramic rod there is a resistor. If the rod is broken it will be impossible to...
Andy is a busy guy ... he works a normal day job on top of making these awesome vapes for us. He does always respond to emails and pms here asap. I am a new customer but many many people swear by his customer service ... hoping I never need it but I know it's there if I do.
Give him a chance...
I can get the same size hits from my dbv as my ev-2. I like using the ev-2 though cause it's more mobile and I don't like whips. As I've said before it hits way harder when the the bowl is right side up and the ev-2 is upside down so recently I've been using it on a WPA attached to a j-hook...
I owned an sr71 for a few months. The heating element uses metal plate contacts. Breaking the element in half would only ruin it ... I'm sure you could solder wire leads to the contacts if you wanted to.
