The silicone works with the new style core. I use a short piece of the silicone on a ssv mouth piece for a super short simple glass stem.
IME the silicone makes a better seal around the heater core than the glass stems/gongs giving the bowl a more even, efficient roast. I don't taste...
Compared to my underdog it delivers way bigger hits. It easily white walls my larger water pipes and delivers many back to back hits without having to reload so I use it as a session vape. I put it in the same class as my cloud+ but actually prefer it to the cloud as I can stir the bowl much...
If anyone is looking for a reasonably priced water pipe for their UD I highly suggest the orbiter by magic flight. It's got fairly low diffusion for really flavorful hits and I'm really digging the whip. I bought a 14mm male glass mouth piece for it too but I actually prefer the whip as I can...
The wong that ed made me was only 1" long and I ended up using it as a dry stealth stem for the most part. It worked really well and I really liked it. Both the stem and the solo are gone now tho.
1.5" x 1.5" x 4.375" for the HI body w/ matching bottom cap.
Edit:
A little wood porn. The buckeye burl will be ss core and the birdseye maple in the middle will be a glass core ... wood stems for both hopefully.
Edit 2: see you already found the sizes you need ... should've fully read...
@RUDE BOY @PNWMMJ ... I have found the only way to get an efficient extraction with the EV-2 upright is to load the bowl by sucking the ground herb up and then hold the bowl upright until I'm ready to place it into the vape to maintain the bowl pack. When ready I need to be hitting the...
Just got my second today! Now I've got a maple with zebrawood stem and a walnut with bocote stem ... maple pa 2.0 and redwood finishing grinder. I needs me an orbiter
Most "connoiseurs" steer away from whip and bag vapes. EV-2 by epic vape is in your price range as they are half off right now. They can be used as direct draw, whip or through water so they're pretty versatile.

Grind consistency plays in a lot with the underdog too. I like a medium fine grind for the most milk ... my large 2 pc scs gives the perfect consistency.
Another thing ... less bud = more milk a lot of the time.
Try positioning the screen so it is just a little below the...
Wasn't thinking the heater caused it was thinking more along the lines of a loose connection causing an intermittent short or something like that. Your arcing theory makes sense though didn't think of that.
Thanks for the response
It's really hard to see in the pic but the deposits that you spoke of on the screw head match up perfectly with holes in the silver contact plate that have scorch marks around them. The more I look at it it appears to me that the silver got hot enough to melt and fuse to the screw head...
