Unfortunately, yes, I think a lot of us did get our orders. I don't know if others didn't? I ordered a SS and two spares, got them all in 4 days. These are the batteries we're all discussing disposing of.

In addition to the good advice @Mr. Me2 gave you, I'm going to suggest you check the small o-ring on the post that holds the halves together. It's the one that can get pinched when assembling the CU. If not that, check 'em all!

PBW would work too....but, the hotter the water, the better it works. I use boiling or near. Cold water in my experience is almost useless. I'm not sure the bags could take the heat I think it t takes to work.

Completely agree. This heater is really special. We just need it in a form factor that's reliable. If that were the case I too would cease to bring up the battery cost...
