I'm feeling much the same here. My new SS is plowing thru everything I put in it and good batteries get me 8-10 full draws or 4-5 bowls. I've been loading loose but full and it's probably cleared for most people in the first hit at 5, she gets a second and the abv is a nice dark roast color...

Does it act like that with all your batteries? I only ask because some of my older batteries act like that, the others work fine. When I get home tonight I'll measure the length of those that work vs those that don't, I'm guessing they're a bit shorter.

Then it must be a smaller diameter glass (smaller than the 18mm glass in the Mi)? Can we get . 25g in a load?

If you took your metal screen out and put the capsule in using the glass screen as a stop, would it protrude? Either way love it and need to order two!.... maybe with a request for a custom depth of glass screen?

Yes, charged it first and it was working. When it stopped, charged it again but got the same results.

They did change the cord maybe a year or so in, the original had wires that came off with two wires that joined back up above the magnet. The newer style had a single cord that comes off it and is set up to "rock" it off with the center hole having an angle in it. Probably not the best...
