    Discontinued G43 and SledGhammer

Of course! The clue is in the name  You're probably not soliciting ideas ATM, but just in case you're open to something : If the rod were a tube instead, you could run the return leg of the coil inside to help further reduce the risk of shorts between it and the coil. You might not...

    Discontinued G43 and SledGhammer

Very simple, and fascinating  Is it (the heater itself) just a coil surrounded by beads? The vid seems to show great function.

@GreenHopper, that sleeve is fantastic

    DaVinci MIQRO

That's kinda cool that it offers passthrough. Doubt I'll ever use it myself, but it's good to know that it's an option. Thanks for pointing it out  I see the silicone 'band' just above the top edge of the oven, is that where you mean? If so, my mIQro has no gap there. I can make a gap...

    DaVinci MIQRO

I think all vapes that allow use while charging require some charge in the battery to achieve this (didn't even realise the mIQro had this option! you sure?). I'm also fairly certain that even in devices which do allow this, it degrades the battery prematurely, so it's probably advisable to just...

    The Nomad From Morwood

You may be right I suppose, but for the record I have a very low tolerance. Or maybe I just think I have a very low tolerance due to ripping when I should be sipping! I admit that if I can't see ANY vapour when I breathe out directly under a lamp I probably would consider that a sub standard...

    DaVinci MIQRO

I had a little trouble the first couple of times I fitted the battery, but since then I've had no real trouble

    The Nomad From Morwood

Wow, I can't get over the number of draws folk like you and @KeroZen get from a stem! 3 stems per battery and 20 draws per stem is around 60 draws per battery! Do you also get visible vapor for the majority of those 20 draws per stem? I think I could get more than my usual max of around 5 draws...

Paying it Forward - A New Direction

Ah damn! Sorry to hear about your RTA and injuries Vito, that's desperately unfair :disgust: Hopefully the presence of the police means an easy passage through the insurance obstacle course. I hope your recovery happens quickly, but I also hope that you take the time to heal as well as you...

    The Nomad From Morwood

I freely admit that looks are very important to me in this case, and that Dan's attention to detail in that regard was a big draw for me to get a Nomad. But even in this case function comes first (besides which, the best aesthetics are almost always born of good functional design anyway, IMO)...

Holy freakin' MOLEY :o Beeeeeeautiful shots and work Dan. I absolutely LOVE the attention to detail that you're employing, I can't get enough of this, stunning stuff. The wood, the figuring in them and the finish you've developed all look really top drawer  I wonder if one of those box...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Could be, I do feel as though I keep going until I get no further effect though. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if your material is far better than what I often get. Beggars can't be choosers and all that. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely grateful for what I do get, but I can't expect...

Thanks for filling us in on your battery experiment, and for the Nomad report. I too am surprised that there's such little discussion among owners here, but hearing that yours is so good with flavour is exactly what I hope for with mine. I think you and I must vape quite differently though, as...

Yeah, I have the same feelings re' the post and pearl. Or maybe a longer post (to keep the mass of the pearl within it's design parameters)? It's a great little vape. Good luck with the eye surgery Chiron

VapeXhale Evo Kit Contest To Benefit Underdog's Recovery Post Fire

Thanks for running this comp' Stu! I just made another tiny donation so I can get an entry (a single one will do thanks). If I win I too would support the prize being sold on the classifieds with proceeds going to Underdogs revival. Sorry my donations don't add up to much, but I'll make more...

Yeah, definitely tough. And the pic's of first batch examples too. Not much action here on the thread, but oh boy, the edge of my seat is worn right out! I've requested a box elder burl with Kraft sleeve (modded), Cocobolo collar and lichen button. Can't wait to see it  I'm making a...

    Atadam's Vaporizers

Wow, now THAT'S a first post @atadam! Fascinating and extremely comprehensive description of your process, top work  Like Abysmal (who's thread is fantastic) I too will be tuning in here to see where the Halonut goes. Great achievement
