An FMJ won’t work well because ideally, you’d have to put it over the airholes, blocking them. Most importantly it needs a non-magnetic induction sleeve instead of the magnetic one.
I’m working on a Flare-compatible induction sleeve that will be slightly thicker and non-magnetic.
I tested it with a thin non-magnetic sleeve and was able to achieve around 95W.
If both the indicator housing and the induction sleeve are non-magnetic, it can reach 120W. However, losing the...
It uses 6x1 and 5x1 o-rings, most of the o-rings on the Tempest are these two sizes. You can adjust the tip connection by changing the size of the o-rings so it’s more secure in glass, etc. The default is one of each size.
The Tempest stock is almost ready. I think it will be finished this...
Yes
It won’t dent like a DV cap, this is way thicker and sturdier. You’d probably need to hit it with a hammer to bend it and even then you can buy the parts separately and replace it.
The beta versions came without calibrated indicators so the customers who got it early will need to install...
I’ve only had a few samples and sent out 3 or 4 sets of the new parts. I still have plenty of clicks and VI springs, but it’s not easy to add or change them without the right tweezers that come with the final upgrade kit. I’m happy to send a set of those to any beta customers with an order, but...
Can’t say for certain yet, it might not be available initially as if it won’t go through I’ll have to do loads of refunds and returns. I’ll try to get it to local resellers if they can still sell it somehow after the ban
The air intake is above the indicators, it’s not going through them
No unfortunately, it would be complicated to do, and the EU website is a reseller, which complicates it further. The upgrade kit is only available for the same account as the original purchase, and there will be different upgrade kits depending on when you ordered the beta.
There might be no tax...
