I find it hilarious how some people think their belief in religion is somehow sacrosanct and off-limits to criticism. I routinely make comments about Republicans in political discussions and am not accused of hate-speech. Believe whatever you like but don't expect me to respect it automatically...
We have a duty as critically-thinking, peace-loving people to ridicule damaging belief systems that rely on anti-intellectualism and denial of reality.
The last sentence in that first paragraph makes no sense. Must you be part of a group to criticize it? I don't think so.
Of course Islam isn't a monolith and has different sects. No one disputed this. You're now using a straw-man here and additionally, you're making it seem almost as if the...
The "no true Scotsman" fallacy is more often used by religious apologists (be they Christian, Muslim, or of another stripe) who routinely dismiss violent acts by others who share their dogma. Christians will say their terrorists are not really Christians while Muslims will say they are not a...
I don't think anyone will think you are whining. My HydraHoneycomb has a crooked vapor path but it's not nearly that bad; just enough to be noticeable. I would get one that bad exchanged as well.
I don't think there's any comparison. Get the EVO. There have been a few QC issues as VXH has expanded recently but that could be rectified if something was wrong. The new tubes aren't as good as the older versions IMO, but that's a matter of opinion on the design rather than durability.
The Hydrabomb has better airflow than the other two that have the small slits on the central barrel while also offering good diffusion. All three are good, though. Don't stress over it too much.
I thought I'd drop in to mention how much I'm enjoying using my vapexnails again even though my VB2 is operational. I used to prefer hitting the VB2 dry. Now I want a bit of filtration again for the hot dense vapor (that's still very smooth on the VB2 but my tastes have changed) and have even...
Can't do anything nationally about a national political party taking over all levels of government that aren't POTUS? Actually, it seems like that should be a primary concern of the other major national political party. Gerrymandering is a problem but in no way makes this something that...
I think the biggest negative here is that places that aren't really representative of the wider electorate get such inordinate influence on the race. Caucuses are anachronistic, undemocratic farces that need to be scrapped altogether.
I wish the Democrats could get people mobilized for Congressional races like they do for President. When that happens then some big things can get done again.
Snide comments are a poor substitute for the substance and detail that I was asking for. I'll go ahead and avoid you for the rest of the thread because this is neither entertaining nor illuminating.
Hillary is the only other choice we have. When this was pointed out (even though it was obvious) you responded with another strange non-sequitur.
What is your point here? It seems like you're just making really glib responses without sticking to an intelligible line of reasoning.
@howie105 ...
Yes, politics in the US is under undue influence of money. This is the biggest problem with our system. Nothing will every truly be fixed while this is the case. Electing one person who seems better on this than the average, while nice, also will not fix the bigger problem (unfortunately)...
I get it. You're voting on Iraq and only that. If I had been referring to you specifically then it would have been obvious. You'd have seen your name mentioned.
It strikes me that those who simply don't like Hillary (because she's simply not that charming) are seizing on the most convenient answers to justify it and are somehow distilling all foreign policy to "she voted wrong on Iraq" while swallowing Bernie's line about Wall Street and speaking fees...
