Super. Heckin. Cool.
Love the scandi/mcm minimalist vibe.
@invertedisdead I have two questions and an observation regarding something I see as an undersold feature.
Is the zxl internal geometry scaled-up ZX?
What are the chamber IDs at the screen channels?
ZX>>my famous maker's ti bowl for...
So long as you're asking... I'd like the next size up coil diameter still with a 14mm exit for use w 14mm Zbowl. A little more thermal capacity, a little less restriction.
And a pony!
PSA: I've noticed that the inner edge of the 14mm female joint on my glass has some new/fresh chips and suspect a combination of cavalier operation and the sharp unbroken outer edge at the bottom of the ZBowl. My glass is cheap so I'm not too flustered but if I had some of y'all's glass I'd be...
Outsourcing would diminish the value quite a bit for me. I'm on the list of those concerned about the lack of recent updates; iirc the last email was about a brief delay regarding the one expected for the subsequent wknd
@Dan Morrison , what can you tell us?
Fwiw I found the zBowl to be a major step up from a 14/14 glass joint as bowl. The load is closer to the heat, there's less draw resistance because the id is constant, it tastes *markedly* better (that surprised me), and both stays cleaner longer and is easier to maintain.
I also have a b1/22mm...
+1 ZX *when combined with the matching bowl*. The geometry of the bowl is very smooth internally, and the id is much smaller than 18/22mm hardware so there's less bare screen with small loads. It's good, but a stiffer draw than b1 (because smaller ID).
I figure if I say "wtf?!" when reviewing pictures (due to the inclusion of odd protuberances, encased objects, irrelevant elements, or seemingly misaligned pricing) then it's "heady".
