I'm at about a gram a day (1oz per month). I have been for 20+ years.
Unlike most, my usage went up when I went from smoking to vaping. I got back down to an oz/month after a while, but I have to consciously ration myself to stay at that level now.

I do not leave my Pax in my car because of the hot/cold temps. I have read that one of the worst things you can do to a rechargeable battery is expose it to extreme heat. Over time that will adversely affect its ability to hold a charge. Here is a quote I found when searching for battery info...
Debris seems to get lodged under the screen more often than I would like, and some of that also finds its way into the internals of my unit. On my first unit it did not happen as much because the gap where the screen fits into was very tight. On my replacement unit that gap between the glass &...
Thanks for bringing those up again. I meant to get some when you originally mentioned them, but completely forgot about them.
I just bought some to try out.
The screw looks different than mine. The screwhead looks a little smaller. On mine there is no gap between the screwhead and the sleeve.
The screen also looks questionable to me. There were some pics earlier in the thread (post 9835) that showed a fake that had a screen with half moon cutouts...
Welcome!
I just hit the 5 month mark with my EVO. I love it and use it often. Most weekends I have it running all day.
I also have a Pax & a Firefly, and agree that they are great. But like you said about those two, the EVO offers something that the others don't. First off, the sheer power of...
I actually changed my ritual a bit to work around the timer. On days that I use it for hours at a time, I toggle the on/off switch every time I finish an ELB .
It's not very often that I go a full hour between ELBs, so that has pretty much eliminated the problem of going to take a hit and...
No matter how hard I shake my FF, my goods do not move. At least not enough to redistribute the herb on the bottom of the bowl. When I just shook it between hits, the bottom would char while the top was still green.
So I always stir every 2 hits.
I think I understand (and agree) with what you are saying. It sounds like you are saying you can't take in enough air (and vapor) quickly enough which makes you feel out of breath, not that you have no more lung capacity before the hit is done (like mitchgo61 thought you were saying).
Is that...
I think it depends on the problem. When I sent mine in they told me they would look at it and then decide whether to repair or replace it.
The day they received it they looked at it and decided that replacing it was the best option, then sent a new one all on the same day.
I sent my old one...
I'm curious to see how the Santa Cruz Shredder goes. Both times I have used Massdrop it was for grinders. I haven't done any fragile items like glass.
The other time I used Massdrop was for the Magic Flight finishing grinder. That one took two months to get. I didn't mind much because I wasn't...
That doesn't sound abnormal to me. Usually the batteries take 4-5 hours to charge up, and they are pretty hot when they come off the charger.
It's been a few hours since you posted, did the light go green yet?
