4.2v is the highest I would go. A cart reading 2.3 - 2.5 ohms would only be suitable for the 3.7v - 4.2v range. Any more & you'll likely burn it out. You'll need something around 1.5 - 1.8 ohms for 7.4v - 8.2v.
Just keep in mind that just like everything else they make, there is a steep learning curve. Comparing these attachments to any other vapes is like comparing a stick shift to an automatic. You get more control & performance but it requires a little more work.
FINALLY got the chance to enjoy my Bender again thanks to @k3nd4l. I almost forgot how tasty it was (Bender...cooking...tasty...I know there's a joke there somewhere). Seems like the new hammer rods don't get as hot as the old ones cuz I got three bowls of abv looking like volcano abv (not the...
In case @bdmonkeyj3w 's method doesn't work, I've been unscrewing the gold post a bit & extending the rod so they make contact before the two chambers are fully screwed in (almost all the way) as a temporary fix. lessens the amount of times you have to unscrew the chambers.
I get 32 gauge from kidney puncher & never use non res.

They have everything else you need to rebuild there too
Sent my SR74 to Gary for repairs (ended up being a bad bottom adapter) & he upgraded me to a SR74x and threw in an extra rod! This and the unmatched quality is why I've been a long time supporter of this company (no matter what their name was). Thanks for caring about the customer boss.

Your exact situation has happened to me numerous times. Sometimes I'll check the website while I'm at work & come home to a slip telling me to pick it up at the post office. One day I'll give in to paying double for ups.
The only difference between rebuilding the two is that you have to crimp the non res wire to the titanium after wrapping the ti around the wick & putting the ends through the holes in the ceramic cup. I'd stick with NiChrome though because crimping those wires is a PITA IMO
Not saying that's what you ordered, just saying that's probably what you got and attempting to show the value in ordering direct from the manufacturer.
If you take a look at

You'll see that what you recieved is the current offering from uptech.
IMO Ti is better in every instance except the most important one. Reliability. At 7.4v they just burn out way to quickly. With nichrome I can literally hold the button down as long as I want to & treat it no different than a 3.7v cart (I typically don't use non resistance wire & as long as I...
Use nichrome & wrap tightly (I use 32 gauge nichrome & wrap it 5 times over, 4 under for 7.4). @DieHard 's tutorial is dead on if you need a detailed description of what to do for kiss carts & globes aren't too different.
@Nube Scrutator Unless the kiss mini has no air holes, I have no clue how your shit isn't leaking all over the place. Can you provide some insight as to how the kiss works?
The second iteration of their variable voltage top for the persei. There hasn't been much details on the features or an ETA, but the concept is basically a portable version of the core.
@420time when you find out, let me know. G's been fairly quiet on this one.
