Your problem is that you got a unit that was two generations old. Most of your problems could have been avoided simply by buying from the w9 website. The herc handles all types. I usually just go with the best deal I can find & suffer the consequences (taste, loading, leaks). None of which are really that big of deal. If the wax isn't viscous enough, throw it in the freezer for a half hour before loading to ease the process. "Liquid-y" waxes...

How hard are you hitting it? If you're pulling on it like a kiss cart, that's too hard. I usually cigar puff to fill my mouth with vape, inhale the vape, & repeat the process till my lungs are full. Followed by a couple of 10-15 sec cool down rips to help with leaks.
