This could also be due to different firmware versions that seem to be around (different Simon games etc) Edit: contact Ploom to be sure if you have an original :) I have an old pax that was already exchanged by Ploom and the exchange doesn't have Simon game either and only basic party mode...

I seem to remeber that I saw in a vid that you would have to turn the the dial totally of and on again in order for the power to start again, did you try that? :D
