Anyone use the PD buzz butter or something similar on their LB? I've got some pharm grade min oil (butcher block oil), but would prefer a non-petroleum alternative.
I agree. My medium four piece polished SC is very well done. I balked a bit at the price, but when I got it I realized the price was in line with any other quality machined aluminum device. I have some quibbles with some of their other, less expensive products, but the grinders are very nice and...
Yeah I saw that, and my personal opinion about the Ti SC is the same as yours. There are many reasons I suspect that it isn't Ti, but I have no proof to back that up.
All I can do without proof is speculate.
Good thought, I'll call them next week.
Even though it isn't a terribly pressing issue, it is kind of annoying to not know. Grinders this expensive should have published product specs, not a shroud of mystery.
Titanium coating and anodizing are different processes from what I have read. Maybe the terminology was throwing me off. When I think anodizing, I don't think coating.
Anyone here with metal finishing experience?

Quitting smoking, losing a bunch of weight, and starting to run, well, it's gonna hurt. Been there, done that. All sorts of things go out of whack for a while.
Well, some vapes are better for different forms of material.
Or, simply for the reason that you are obsessed with a hobby and want to have fun with it. That's good enough reason.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I'm glad to be here and I'll do my small part to keep this place classy.
And, welcome Lindsey! I don't know about your Vapor Tamer, but you should get used to it. I hear that all sorts of things start malfunctioning after 30. ;)
I'm sure someone here will...
Thank you very much everyone for your input. :) It was a big help.
After considering your posts and scouring the internets for information, a decision was reached and acted upon.
My first step on the road to glass vaping has been taken.
