I think the magnet might be pulling on the click disc that’s closer to it and won’t let it click back. It’s usually around 5 minutes on mine.

Screw off the indicator housing on the Reload and pull up the outer side of the spring. Make sure that the outer side is touching or almost touching the inner wall of the housing all around. The spring compressed too much from the extra heat and got stuck in the lip / shelf thingy on the inside...

Try to aim slightly closer to the bowl and stop at the click or heat from further away. Less or no tamping can also help

Hold it a bit further away from the cap and/or closer to the indicators if you combusted. It will work fine with a single torch as well.

Apart from the risk of trying to hold and screw on a hot cap, it’s important that the bowl is warm when you begin drawing hot air through it; otherwise, you’ll get uneven extraction and a higher chance of combustion.
