On the Madheaters website it advises a cleaning before first use. I'm just going to clean with some q-tips and iso. I will submerge the cap for a few mins then rinse. Should be good to go after that.

This isn't an attempt to police the thread. But I would sincerely find a seperate thread on the tariff issue to be helpful and interesting. It's something that is clearly going to affect our hobby, and the small creators within it.

The heat shield will not alter performance in anyway. Only difference is weight. Ti is heavier. Both will be relatively light weight anyway. Taste will not be imparted because the shield is not in the vapour path.

It was my experience that the Anvil has more conduction, not less. The Tornado feels very Hybrid to me. That's why the Tornado won't really replace the Anvil, as the signature is different.
