Indeed, I have an EQ, one of the best desktop vapes, but I don't use it anymore. The LB is just always there, ready to take a hit. No need to wait 5-10 minutes for warmup, no need to juggle glass parts while high, it's just like a dream come true.

You can remove the pushback ring, it won't void your warranty. That way you won't need to push the battery to make contact. Feel free to remove the ring (see the vaporpedia entry for the box for tips).

Thanks, I'll try this. I'm using 96% ethanol because I already have a bunch of it. It's a bit smellier, but works just as well if you keep this simple rule (though I might need to get ISO to clean the gum below the trench when it gets too much).

I use it for 5-10 trenches a day, and the gum does build up quickly. The stuff below the trench will not cause problems, so you can leave that, but the shoulders need an alcohol-soaked q-tip wipe every week to remove the stuff. I follow this with a 1 battery burn in, and it cleans the trench...

I bought mine in October, and it did run very hot for the first week or two, so hot that it tended to combust even with slightly faster drawing. Since then it seems to have normalized, sometimes if I don't clean the tench shoulders it can even be harder to get it hot enough to finish a trench...

Just tried vaping a very small quantity of quality Dutch rolling tobacco in the LB. It worked great! I gave up cigarettes many years ago, that's why I was very careful, but I do feel the well known tobacco high. I do this because I'll transport the LB with the tobacco for alibi... To smell it...

I didn't mean anything special, just a normal LB without the extras (I have the attachments, batteries, charger), it's hard to get a bare box in the EU, and I wouldn't mind the waiting as it will be a for backup. Thanks, I'll most likely order tomorrow and mention this in the notes. :)
