Just keep practicing and you'll get the hang of it ;) Another suggestion I'd give is to make sure you are packing your bowl very very loosely..if it's too tight you won't get the right amount of airflow to vaporize properly. I sprinkle bud into the bowl until it's 3/4 full without packing it...

Thanks for the report, Devo, but I'm still curious about how the bat works..I can see that the ceramic filter is at the bottom of the top part (near the threaded end) but in the flame-hole there is a black cylindrical object..did you notice that? I e-mailed VG about it but they didn't respond
