That sounds pretty nice; thanks for the review, westcoastr. I have two questions though: how hard is it to position the flame compared to the aluminum bat? Have you tried using it outdoors at all?

Ah, I see..it's explaining WHY a slightly smaller flame can be used. Thanks ^.^

Am I just misreading this, or do these 2 contradict each other?

    Discontinued Vape-Or-Smoke Vaporizer

This thing looks really cool; I wish I had money to spend on extra vaporizers for fun, but I just can't justify it :P If I ever break my portable vapes I will definitely be looking for one of these bad boys

Growvaper, I'm glad you're getting the hang of it! Charlie, that would be really cool, maybe you should e-mail them and we can all hope they take your advice

I don't use a VG bat myself, but I remember reading in this thread that someone pointed their torch lighter so that the flame went across the opening instead of INTO the opening. It seems like a long shot, but he said it worked..I will try to find the post and quote it here if I can find it...

I have noticed that problem with them too, but I just turn the flame size up a bit until I refill it. I have also had problems with them lighting after about the first 1-2 months, but they're so cheap that it's not a big deal. However, I bought an Ever Tech Shark torch lighter a year ago and...

For you guys looking for a good lighter to use, you should try one of these: http://fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?pid=97572#p97572 This post was taken from the Glass VG thread; I have used torch lighters for my VG for well over a year (including the model linked above) and much prefer...

I heartily agree with this; I've used the torch lighters linked above for over a year and have to open up a new one every few months..they are good while they last though :)

It should be fine; the burnt wood on the outside shouldn't affect the vaporization process. I'm sorry to hear about your new pipe getting burned though :(

Hmm that does seem like it could be an issue, but it is still worth a try. At the very least I'm sure they would let you purchase a new top once you have explained the trouble you are having. I have a friend who has an aluminum bat and has also had a lot of trouble with his overheating; he...

I'm glad you finally got it working! I don't have a bat myself, but a friend of mine went through the same learning curve that you did..for the first couple weeks he was disappointed, then finally sent me a text message letting me know how excited he was that it finally worked :) Another...

Charlie, I started using a torch lighter with my classic wood VG about a year ago (now I use it with my glass VG ^.^) and I definitely prefer the torch over a bic. With regards to method, there's really only one method..point it straight in and hold it at the proper distance (flame length...

Glass VaporGenie vs VaporStar comparison review

Bananiq, you can buy a new top piece for $33; I dropped mine on the floor and cracked it (it hasn't broken yet!) so I went ahead and ordered a new one. It was my fault, obviously, so I just paid for it. https://www.vaporgenie.com/Replacement-Tops/

Hmm that's a good idea..I have only used the VG bat once myself, but I have a friend who uses his all the time and loves it..I will see if he's interested in making a tutorial

My Great Vape Experiment - Exercise and Vaping

I read on VaporBuff.com that vapor will nearly always be more irritating than smoke because THC and other cannabinoids are natural lung irritants and vapor is much more potent with them than smoke is. I have been almost exclusively vaporizing for over a year now and on the rare occasions that I...

Yes, you are putting the herb in the wrong end; you should loosely pack the herb into the mouthpiece half of the pipe so it sits on the screen, it shouldn't touch the gray ceramic filter. It is possible that it isn't ground up enough, but you really don't need it to be very fine to get vapor...

Cool, thanks for the input guys, and that Blazer lighter definitely sounds awesome..the one I have is ONLY a torch, when I turn the fuel knob down it makes a smaller and smaller torch flame and then eventually won't light at all (no candle flame setting :( )
