Baking soda paste is my go to cleaning solution for this type of thing. I'm yet to have it do anything but make things look brand new (many years with the same bangers and ruby/sapphire inserts and they still look like the day I purchased them)

The built-in SSR would be fine, as long as it's capable of supporting the current of the coil (about 3A per coil) as well as for heating coil purposes should be a "zero crossing" SSR (meaning it only switches on/off as the AC sine wave crosses zero, to my understanding using a non-zero cross SSR...

Did he burn his lip from the vapor or from concentrate coming up through the mouthpiece? I think I recall in the video he commented that it was because he drew too hard at first (or maybe we are referring to different videos or different sections in the video)

I still absolutely love my Bowle (although never used the cup ... well ... twice); really great device for killing a bowl in 1-2 big hits. The delays may just be around supply ... as a small manufacturer, depending on the components, they may just not have been able to get them manufactured...

Mine doesn't auto shut-off either.

I'm ok with non-replaceable batteries as long as the manufacturer offers battery replacement for a reasonable fee; I understand the safety/liability concerns.

Ok, received my Proxy today, and have had a chance to have 5 bowls on it so far. I really like it after the last hit :) Wasn't sure after my first couple bowls. Then downsized the rubies (these ones are about 2.75mm diameter on the caliper vs the others around 3.75), and the next couple bowls...

MaxVapor makes the plugin adapters and think they still are (at least it looks like they still have some available as they were just updated for the Hopper IO in 2022) Edit: correction, looks like they no longer make the full kit, they just have the Power Converter available.
