Most of the internet appears to call that style of recessed female joint a dewar seal

Bingo.
I think this is why some rather dated conduction vapes can still 'hold their own' for many situations. It seems easy to manage the Maillard flavours in a pleasant way.
Just as you'd do with specialty coffee, going to the effort of tailoring your particle size and extraction method to...
I keep a volcano or mflb brush in my to-go bags and at home I use a regular size 10 or 12 round brush with the bristles cut down.
If you're using the aluminum stem a safety pin or something like the elev8 marble pick is great to have on hand for lifting the screen.
I think I still like the...
:uhh: No brush? Do you even vape bro?
Brush it out while it's still warm.
Instead of torching it every few bowls (ewww gross), just scrape underneath the screen and then put it back upside down.
If you can't handle cleaning some icky then stay away from the sticky 😅
Just to be clear, it's the multi piece bubbler that I linked to in #28,021 (not the micro).

Has anyone seen a good alternative to this?
It seems to tick a few boxes, except that I dislike logos and colour. Appearances aside, it's unfortunately not an option because Dabbing Warehouse also can't/won't ship to me.
Sorry I'm not familiar with the soft rimmed screens. Is it turned the other way compared to the rimmed screen in that pic and then pushed into the opening?
Otherwise I don't understand how the herb doesn't fall down onto the heater if it's not 'behind' the screen when the opening points...
I really hope the pots become available separately because despite a hint of VAS, I have little desire for a bowle, go figure:shrug:
I think an EQ style dome/bucket screen in an 18.8male glass adapter is the best bowl I've used (so far) for a fine grind, but I still want to try these.
This is sadly not in my budget for the time being, but the desire is strong & it's something I could see myself saving for...
Is a 240v unit with an antipodean plug possible?
sorry, don't have pics but yeah, just a normal cyclone bowl.
I removed the heatshrink, but if you wanted to keep it, put the screen in the other side and have the sleeve on the bottom so it doesn't get torched.
I think 'more than perfect' is too generous. Whilst the performance is fine, the shape of the steel screen bowl is lame. Why not have something that captures the screen so it doesn't move around?
I like using an EQ bowl. The extra headspace seems reduce the likelihood of scorching the top of...
I find the silicone helps to slow the airflow through NEO so even when it isn't required to make a good seal, it helps to stop the draw overwhelming the coil on low power settings.
Has anyone tried one of the GRAV Octobowl variations with the NEO yet?
I don't remember if it's been mentioned here, but I've found using a dropdown on a j-hook can be a great way of making it stand up. If it's turned to the side, there are generally 3 points of contact that are much more stable than some of the lackluster 'feet' that have been posted. A bonus is...
Good advice.
Even multiples of the same torch can perform differently. My half a dozen Honest torches are all slightly different.
It's not bad to have options that suit different conditions too. One of my Zico torches will work comfortably at about half the flame length of the common Honest...
I have a load of heavy cloth napkins and tea towels to wrap glassware so it doesn't bang around in my storage tub. Cotton/Linen can deal with heat well, so whilst I don't wrap the Elev8R immediately, it's comfortable at a temp much higher than I'd like to hold.
I have thought a kitchen pot...
