That sucks. I have two. One has a looser flame adjustment than the other. I carry the loose one. The other is my backup. I have a third spare NIB. I’ve been filling it with garbage fuel and it just eats it. Maybe the igniter can be replaced?

Big torch with the smallest sturdy flame you can. Heat up should be about 30 seconds. If you want a darker roast, increase your flame size. Heat up time should still be 30 seconds.
