Our goal is still to get to market by the end of 2017. We have experienced multiple delays due to manufacturing difficulties with our august models and have done another full overhaul with the build deck, cooling chamber, swap pods and more.
As of yesterday our latest revision has been sent to...
Here is a demo of a possible stem adaptor top to replace the herb pod assembly and cooling chamber. The 18mm male to male piece makes it a lot easier to see how much vapor youre getting when hitting dry.
I could definitely see using the stem adaptor for heavy hits at home and the herb pods on...
how do you feel about the performance in the video? Keep in mind this model isn't incorporating the vapor cooling chamber (which should increase heat size and reduce vapor harshness) and is using a .1 basket screen vs our .25-.3 herb pod.
Hey everyone, we are almost done redesigning the ModPod to be manufacturable. In the mean time check out this demo with high temp resin 3d printed parts and some off the shelf screens, basket screen, and build deck.
Varries wildly but I've gotten upwards of 20 hits from a full load, more common is 5-10 from maybe .2
If you don't mind waiting a few weeks to get it, I've found efun to be the lowest prices for many af compatible mods
id recommend a dual battery box mod compatible with arctic fox, it is really easy to install and set profiles and performs much better than most stock firmware. look into the cuboid or maybe sinuous p80 for single battery options
Still waiting on the drip tips and heatsinks, but have everything else. Will try to ship the first batch by monday the 18th or so. Here is the black castle to compete the look (drip tip band will be black on shipped models too)
Single high temp dabs, load and go wax tank, microdose herbs, and...
Hey everyone, over the last week or so a few redditors and I conducted a bunch of experiments with mesh concentrate pads (mostly S&B crafty pads) in ceramic donut concentrate atomizers for loading a larger amount and getting multiple hits between reloads. After many tests I found that the best...
I like the numbering system
1) We really worked hard on making the herb chamber large because convection works better with a loose pack and also works better with a half pack or even microdoses (at least in my experience as compared to full conduction units). This way you still have the...
Here are some shots of the 3D prints of the finalized designs showing size comparisons of the herb pod (with improved heat distribution and integration to the cooling chamber) vs a Dynavap M and DC gen 2, as well as the coil cup atop the no-tools-required build deck vs a DTV3 cup. let me know...
We have decided to manufacture in the USA exclusively for year 1. Also we have finalized the designs (with new cooling chamber and completely redesigned herb pod) and sent out a request for quotes from a local mill. We expect to have a working prototype in 7-10 days!
I would like to know, what...
