I know it's been awhile since I've mentioned those handmade items… They've been a huge pain to create, but I've gotten close enough on a few ISS that I pulled out of a Kiln yesterday to give them a quick list on the ID Website.
Interplanetary Space Station
Give them a look and let me know what...
Sadly not.
The issue is know and it’s a result of the tube being so narrow that it’s extremely difficult to anodize.
That said, it fortunately doesn’t limit the Silo in anyway, other than being aesthetically unpleasant and a bit dirty... we had to make the choice between remaking the Silo and...
We’ve had the stickers on the website before, but I don’t think we sold any.
We also used to send them out. But then it got to be too much work. But eventually we’ll get some sort of sticker system worked out for each order. Or we’ll start adding sticker packs in the future or something.
That seems a bit harsh. But I think it will be worth the wait.
Unfortunately we’re not a huge company. So things like this sometimes take longer than say, if we had millions of dollars in backing.
The overall length with the extender is just a tad over 2 inches. - so it has about 1.75 inches worth of useable space when you account for the ¼ or so of an inch of threading
The XL Adapter is 10mm long.
Honestly, I’m not much of a fan of the herb end these days. So currently we’re considering a new version that just holds the VC and has a magnet.
6061. But I emailed you so you are already in the know.
I’ve been holding off posting because I didn’t want to double post with a huge post with lots of pictures. But there was a slight hickup...
Also, I’m curious as to hear feedback on the storage chamber on the silo. Is it useful? Not...
Interesting... I’m clueless as to how amazon works. Especially since they enrolled us in “World Wide Amazon Shipping” or something of that nature...
No problem!
Good catches!
I removed the incorrect graphics until they get fixed and cleaned up the error on the 50ml jar.
I believe the measurements are rough estimates for the exterior. - I only have the 500ml jars on hand, but I took the calipers to them and the exterior diameter is coming out to 3.17...
Right on! But by all means, please feel free to order from Amazon. They will only be available there for awhile. And if you leave a review, that helps us out tremendously.
However, if you’re looking for some 500ml jars, we do have a handful in stock on the website thanks to a broken box.
I...
Two quick things:
One: We released a product new; jars!
https://www.interplanetarydevelopment.com/collections/jars
We have four sizes; 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml. Everything but the 50ml is in stock on Amazon. (We’ve been waiting weeks for them to ship. But Apple bought up all the shipping...
This could be a fun look into the process of product design!
Basically, we have a VC Stand. And you’re suggesting adding a container/receptacle to it. - So, the first real question is, what will it look like/how will it function?
For the Silo? Or the ISS?
Either way, it’s entirely possibly. But I think it’s probably would be a job better suited for a different product.
It’s not a bad idea. But I don’t think it would generate many sales. And more importantly, it just doesn’t feel like the right thing to do.
The current solution is to grind against the threading.
It’s for sure something we will be addressing in the SWIII. (Hopefully sometime next year. But first, we have to finish selling what we do have. And we have a lot of pinks. Lol)
The Silo will fit the standard size VCs. Like the M. And anything that’s of a similar size.
The Silo XL Adapter adds extra length to The Silo to allow it to hold the longer XL VCs.
“The Silo XL” is just a combination of both a Silo, and the XL Adapter.
