It looks beautiful. However, theres a few things that stand out:
I've only seen one picture of it. And it doesn't show the teeth.
The lid looks like it's 1/4th of an inch thick. How exactly do they expect anyone to grip that thing?
It looks slick. But they should have engraved the logo.
I'm still not exactly sure what you mean about metal banging on metal. What are you doing when this happens? How does this happen? What pieces are you baking together? How hard are you banging the pieces together?
Hmm… I'm not sure there's a way around NOT cleaning grinders ever. Certainly at least not with their current standardized design. I was going to suggest the lift may be easier to clean since it's has relatively minimal and flat parts. But it looks like you have it and hate it. lol
Maybe I'll...
Hey now. Take it easy man!
I assumed that because you failed to convince anyone else to buy one, that you bought one yourself. - And you either were waiting for it to show up in the mail, or really liked it so you were continuing to tease it... from this additional post, id say my reading and...
If I'm not mistaken, it seems like you may still be teasing...
That only leaves two options. You either haven't received in the mail yet. Or you really like it.
I think someone here should be able to answer that?
Lol! It's so early in development there's hardly even any physical proof it exists! But I'm glad to hear it's already looking good. :sherlock:
It's all good. Already worked out. But we're stuck with a few hundred completely functional but beat up presses for now… So we've got them at a steep discount!
Well friends, Good news and bad news.
Good news: We've got a new product to release! https://www.interplanetarydevelopment.com/products/push-press
Bad news: It came slightly beat up. With a lot of the units being flawed with scratches and a poor packaging job.
Well. These rod magnets are MUCH more powerful than the diametrical ones. And while they work most of the time, because the surface on top of the ceramics isn't completely flat, the vapcap isn't always completely stable. Leading to it occasionally toppling over.
Well, this discussion has gotten a bit out of hand… lol. But it's still a good discussion.
It's possible, but it's highly unlike that the Chinese would be willing to take on the risk of selling direct to the consumer, because it's a much safer move to sell to a business who would then resell...
