if you vape 1 bowl by your self on 5 you'll get quite high... perhaps too much.. try half first.IMO

it might take a really long time to strain throughout a coffee filter. most oil or butter is very viscous. i would say use cheese cloth... if you really want to get all of the abv out then use a coffee strainer. how dark is the abv...

i don't think your reducing the honey enough. honey needs to boil in order for it to become thicker and putting it on a double boiler doesn't get hot enough. maybe getting the honey and tincture to the consistancy you want separately and then adding the two is the way to go?

if you haven't already, next time try cooking off the alcohol/ reduce the liquor before you add it to the oil... the more you reduce the liquor the more intense the flavour will be(adding a small amount of butter with give it better mouth fell)... i don't know if this will help. luk if you try it.

putting it in the freezer also allows for the left over crystals and tricombs to fall off easier.
